Guidelines
Considerations: - No smoking please. - Vehicle should be returned in the same condition it was dropped off/picked up as. - Vehicle will be inspected and disinfected between trips. -Both cleaning and refueling options available under extras. A $45 cleaning fee may apply for excess dirt/sand. - Our car is powered by Hum. - Late fee will apply if no communication given during checkout time. ::::: Required License Verification ::::: For everyone’s safety all pick ups and drop offs will be contactless. With Turo’s new contactless handoffs the following two items are mandatory prior to picking up the car: 1. Please upload a photo of your drivers license to trip photos. 2. Please upload a photo of yourself (selfie) holding your license. You can upload these photos by going to your reservation page, click on details and where it says “trip photos” tap there to upload. Pick up and drop off: You will need to schedule an Uber or Lyft to the pick up location 3 miles away. It will roughly cost $15. I will message you the pick up and drop off location after confirmation. Key lock: There is a $250 replacement fee for lost or damaged key FOB.

Krys was the best. This car was absolutely perfect for Maui.
If this car is available, I will definitely rent it again. Not only was the pricing great, but it reliably got me to where I needed to be.
I had a concern about noise coming from the brakes, but she was able to address the problem remotely & quickly after consulting a Mechanic, and determined that I could continue my schedule.
This car is great on gas, super practical, and perfect for exploring some of the narrower roads in Maui. This was my first time using Turo, and she was incredibly patient in explaining all of the simple things I had trouble with. She also looked at the forecast, saw that one day would be rainy, and provided a free umbrella! Also she let me use a cooler, which was very helpful and allowed me to make stops on the way to my Hotel in Kaanapali.
Definitely will recommend this car to my family and friends.
The Uber ride from the airport @ 9 pm was $18, and the ride from the pickup location to the airport at 7:30 am was $13 for me, and arrived within 4 minutes of requesting a ride.
Ensure you go to the location that she messages to you, I accidentally went to a “general location” instead, and had to walk a bit to the one she had texted me (my mistake).
Either way, it is much faster than taking the train to the rental car center, waiting in line holding all of your baggage, and having to deal with all the upsells from the rental company salespeople.
Also, this car blends in perfectly with locals, and that is something I needed, because I was always carrying lots of camera gear. I have heard stories of theft, especially of the standard rental car models.
