Super Easy! Great little car to go see this beautiful island with. LOVED that it is not a jeep or a mustang! You'll fit in a bit better (the lock box kinda gives you away ;) ) but it doesn't scream tourist! I thought over 4 full days I wouldn't really come close to the 800 included miles, but I did! (IF you want to know: I puttered around Hilo, drove N to UmaUma and Akaka Falls, then to lodging and back into Hilo for more supplies. Day 2: Volcanoes the whole day, did the Chain of Craters road which is 38 mi each way. Day 3: Both Black and Green sand Beaches (that green one is far out of the way-- I didn't drive to the beach! Drove to the trail head.) Then up to Kailua-Kona for another full day of activities. Day 4: Kailua down to Captain Cook and around that area for a bit, then over Saddle Road back to Hilo direct to the airport and that was just under 800 miles.) Definitely Recommend renting this little guy from James!
I had a great experience driving Haven’s 370Z. She was perfect for the twists and turns of Kohala mountain road, Old Mamalahoa Hwy, Chain of Craters road, and the long distance drives from Hilo to Kona, up Ocean View, through South Point, and Saddle Road. The 370Z is a loud car with plenty of power with a big exhaust and if that’s what you’re looking for, she’s for u! At home I drive a Tesla Model 3 so it took a little getting used to the growling of an internal combustion engine again. **Pro Tip: Wearing my Airpods Pro for noise cancelling did the trick!** Thank you Haven! And thank you 370Z for being a great travel partner on my adventures exploring the twists and turns of the Big Island.

Dennis’ Ford Fusion was the perfect car to have for island driving! He was more than responsive to any question. The car was spotless inside and out with no foul odor from cigarettes or animals! Amazing car at a great price, and very nice people. Billie was always pleasant to deal with and was flexible when we had to adjust timing. The mustang was clean, fully fueled and crazy fun to drive. It really made our trip that much better considering how much we traveled around the island. For anyone considering renting I would highly recommend this car and it's owners :)
If I could rate Jason more than 5 stars i would. The car was Super clean, and very easy to drive. Jason answered all of our questions, even after we had the car in our possession. We also had a situation where I messed up our booking. We fly back to the mainland from Kona. We had done an inter flight to Oahu and flown back into Hilo mid trip. So we could see more of Big Island. However, I overlooked us returning our car back to Jason our our last day BUT WE FLY OUT OF KONA. So how would we get from Hilo to Kona? I contacted Jason about my mistake and he was so helpful. Looked into it for us and said we could change our return date to a day earlier np. He would accept it so we could get refunded. And then book a car from Hilo airport on out take off day where we could drop it off at Kona. He was totally fine with it and was flexible on the time of return that day, and even drove us to the airport!! Highly recommend. We stayed in Hilo and Honoka'a (up close to waiemea) and had no problems with the car.
Awesome rental experience! Jason is friendly and a great communicator, the car was very fuel efficient and compact, but still plenty of space for luggage, paddle boards, snorkeling gear and lots of snacks. It was sparkling clean with hand sanitizer provided in the car which turned out to be highly useful. And he allotted us a TON of mileage too. Will absolutely rent this car from Jason again when we’re back on the island! Thank you!!

Awesome car! Great on fuel and clean! Very spacious for a small car; you can fold the back seat down for a bigger cargo space and still have leg room. Jason was a great host and we would definitely rent again!

Wendell’s car has fun features that amplified our trip to the Big Island. The cruise control, lane assist, and seat cooling systems were perfect for the roads and climate. Wendell was easy to communicate with and we had nothing but the best time in Hawaii, and the car was a key part of the experience!

Very joyful experience! First and foremost the car is in great and reliable condition. We did enjoy our trip to big island Hawaii. The owner is very friendly. Besides the car they also provided a lot of useful information for local traveling. Would share the car again with the same owner if I go back.

Car was as described - no A/C, slow acceleration, but perfectly fine for just gettin around. Nevin was very easy to communicate with and had no problems. Great value. Would rent again.

Cory arrived on time for both drop off & pick up. He arrived with a clean car & a positive, happy, friendly attitude. He responded to all my messages in a timely manner when I needed to ask a few questions throughout the trip. My flight got canceled & I had to take an earlier flight. Cory arrived on time & accommodated me moving my time earlier. The car ran well & had no issues. I will definitely be using him again in the future.
The car was very clean and smelt great. The host was awesome and easy to contact with fast replies. The car did all and more we expected it too, cold ac, usb plug in to play music and charge phone, and good trunk space. Drove smooth and GREAT ON GAS, which is a big plus for big island cuz there’s a lot to see!

She was very flexible, dropped the car off early and picked it up early as well. I give the car a 4 star only because it had minor annoyances that made the ride not so enjoyable. Other than that the car was okay.
We had a great experience with Phillip! He made the pick up and return very easy. The car was clean and it had some pick up for when you needed to pass those aloha drivers.

A great, little car efficient on gas & got me all around the island. Jason was communicative & super flexible when I wanted to return the car early. Also, I suggest switching to 3rd gear on the way up the giant hills of Saddle Road, but be sure to switch back to D the rest of the time because 3rd eats up gas.
