Car drove great and was in really good condition

Driver door latch has a lot of issues opening, convertible top needs help opening and closing, lots of difficulty starting the car (just give it more gas, but even that didn’t always work), must keep below 55 even on the interstate but the speedometer wobbles pretty violently so good luck telling what speed you’re going. All of these except the speedometer were disclosed at drop off time by the company but not in the listing. All of them would have caused me to find a different car for my wedding if we had known ahead of time.
Very sorry you were not happy with the car. The door issue we later fixed, just needed to be tightened down. For cruising speed. Yes, this car is all original and from 1964, so their is no overdrive, thus you should not exceed 55-60mph on the highway or you can damage the transmission.
Also, old cars are NOT fuel injected and need a little love to start if engine is cold. That’s just how they are.
The issue is not our car, just your lack of knowledge in how classic cars operate.

Wow, renting for our wedding was an absolute breeze! It was like the icing on the cake, making our special day even more perfect. The team went above and beyond to make me feel incredibly welcomed and took care of all my questions and concerns with genuine care. It couldn't have been any easier or more enjoyable. It's so horrible, when I saw the pictures I couldn't believe it was real. The entire process of using the vehicle yesterday showed no damage at all, and no scratches of any kind. Did someone else damage it on purpose? Who created such a disaster at night? Let me describe the whole process: Yesterday afternoon 3/18 2:00pm: The owner was in a hurry to leave, so we handed over the vehicle very simply, and he briefly introduced to me how to use the vehicle, so he drove out of the office in a hurry . I suggested that I would return the car to him at night, and he said that as long as the car was parked in front of the office, the car keys would be put in the small door of the office. After he left, I drove slowly to the location we needed to shoot: the Pacific Coast parking lot. Because the purpose of our car rental is to shoot small videos and photos, the vehicle is used as the background, and because of this, the vehicle is parked there as the background most of the time. During the entire shooting process, five of my friends filmed with me, and they can fully attest that no one destroyed the car during the whole process, and there was no damage. After we finished work, I drove from Newport Beach at about 7:20 pm and arrived at the rental car company at 8:00 pm. With no street lights in the office parking lot, it was dark and I was tired myself. I checked the inside and outside of the car and put the keys in the place specified by the owner. I drove my car and left the scene. May I ask if you can call the camera outside the office to see if anything unusual happens. I guarantee that the vehicle will be in perfect condition when I return it. Since this car is a very old car, we used it very carefully and protected the car very well. I feel unbelievable about such damage, and I am very sorry. Please continue to investigate and find out who damaged the car after I left. When I got home last night, before I went to sleep, I texted the owner and told He and I have already parked the car, but the number he accepts text message returned my message, don't know what's going on. This is my explanation, I am very surprised by the damage to the vehicle and think I also want to understand what is going on. Please investigate the cause further, thank you very much!
Yes it is very bad situation. We gave the car to you in very good condition and you clearly had people crawling on the car and left a lot of scratches. Very sad you did this to our classic beauty.
The fact you said we rushed the checkin process and review of the car is a outright lie! We went over every detail of this car with you and even drove it around the block with you to ensure you felt comfortable in it. Moving forward I would recommend you don’t rent classic cars.

Car broke down within hours of rental. But Patrick and his team were amazing in communicating and working through Turo before any other actions eg refund.
