Jason was a phenomenal host, with great communication throughout the whole trip. I extended the rental several times with no problem. His home is right in Hilo, easy to get to. Very friendly man! I would highly recommend this rental, and the car was so much fun to drive.

I would highly recommend using Everell. 5 Stars!! I came into Hilo on a cruise ship December 27, 2019. I took an Uber to pick up the car at Everells house. He had about 4 or 5 cars that he lists on Turo. I met he and his wife who were very helpful. They offered to drive me back to the ship upon my return of the car. But it was only a couple miles so I decided to walk in the beautiful Hilo sunshine. 5 stars for Everell and Turo! It's cheaper and easier than a rental car company.

Great island car! I wouldn't say it was sparkling clean, but it got me to where I needed to go and that's all I care about. Fun to drive and fits in any parking space. More room than it looks like. I could tuck my carry on into the back and feel safe. I picked up and dropped off in two different locations so that was interesting, but Virginie was excellent at communicating and even checked in on me midtrip! She also offered a phone number for a taxi driver who was excellent and saved me when Uber failed. Mahalo Virginie, I wish you the best of luck! Aloha 🌺

Awesome rental experience! Jason is friendly and a great communicator, the car was very fuel efficient and compact, but still plenty of space for luggage, paddle boards, snorkeling gear and lots of snacks. It was sparkling clean with hand sanitizer provided in the car which turned out to be highly useful. And he allotted us a TON of mileage too. Will absolutely rent this car from Jason again when we’re back on the island! Thank you!!
This is an awesome little car. We rented it for our 5 week stay on the big island. It took us everywhere we needed to go, and it even fitted our 2 surfboards 🤙. Its really cheap on gas so that is definitely a big bonus if you are here for a while or on a budget. Virginie was very quick and helpful with communication. We wanted to extend the rental with a few days and it was no worries. Everything was awesome!
Awesome car! Great on fuel and clean! Very spacious for a small car; you can fold the back seat down for a bigger cargo space and still have leg room. Jason was a great host and we would definitely rent again!

Not the best looks but what makes this vehicle really great are the flexibility of the people that we rented from. Rich was one of the best renters I’ve ever had! Inexpensive, with exceptional customer care? I would literally drive a hoopedee for these things while on vacation!! Great rental!

Wendell’s car has fun features that amplified our trip to the Big Island. The cruise control, lane assist, and seat cooling systems were perfect for the roads and climate. Wendell was easy to communicate with and we had nothing but the best time in Hawaii, and the car was a key part of the experience!

I really recommend renting a Prius from Shane, the car is very dependable and economic. I drove all around the island for less than 50$! Shane has been an amazing host, I actually hired him as our tour guide for a few days and it was totally worth it! He drives his own car, we follow him and he gets us to see amazing stuff we would not have found by ourselves! That made us save so much time and see so much cool stuff. Did you know it can actually sleeps comfortably in a Prius? No need to bother with a tent and get ants or rain, just fold down the seats, blow your mattress and put your bedding and enjoy! Don't hesitate to ask him any questions about it, he will help you make the very best of your trip! Thank you very much and hope to repeat the experience!
Amazing car at a great price, and very nice people. Billie was always pleasant to deal with and was flexible when we had to adjust timing. The mustang was clean, fully fueled and crazy fun to drive. It really made our trip that much better considering how much we traveled around the island. For anyone considering renting I would highly recommend this car and it's owners :)
If I could rate Jason more than 5 stars i would. The car was Super clean, and very easy to drive. Jason answered all of our questions, even after we had the car in our possession. We also had a situation where I messed up our booking. We fly back to the mainland from Kona. We had done an inter flight to Oahu and flown back into Hilo mid trip. So we could see more of Big Island. However, I overlooked us returning our car back to Jason our our last day BUT WE FLY OUT OF KONA. So how would we get from Hilo to Kona? I contacted Jason about my mistake and he was so helpful. Looked into it for us and said we could change our return date to a day earlier np. He would accept it so we could get refunded. And then book a car from Hilo airport on out take off day where we could drop it off at Kona. He was totally fine with it and was flexible on the time of return that day, and even drove us to the airport!! Highly recommend. We stayed in Hilo and Honoka'a (up close to waiemea) and had no problems with the car.

The car was very clean and smelt great. The host was awesome and easy to contact with fast replies. The car did all and more we expected it too, cold ac, usb plug in to play music and charge phone, and good trunk space. Drove smooth and GREAT ON GAS, which is a big plus for big island cuz there’s a lot to see!

Cory arrived on time for both drop off & pick up. He arrived with a clean car & a positive, happy, friendly attitude. He responded to all my messages in a timely manner when I needed to ask a few questions throughout the trip. My flight got canceled & I had to take an earlier flight. Cory arrived on time & accommodated me moving my time earlier. The car ran well & had no issues. I will definitely be using him again in the future.

Juniper was amazing! She was really flexible for drop-off and picking up. I came onto the island really late and she met me with the car at the airport. I also had to add an extra day at the end of the trip and she allowed me to add another day.
Car was perfect for our needs to get around the Big Island. Kea was quick to communicate with us. No problems with the car. Yea, it is dinged up a bit on the outside, but the inside was nice and clean, new looking, and smelled good. I would recommend renting this car and would do it again myself.

Megan had the car available 20 minutes early, which was nice so that I could do the check ins before the trip started. She also offered to have the car cleaned prior to arrival even though the car wasn’t too dirty. She made the process simple which I really appreciated, and gave options for when I returned the car. The only things were that I wasn’t able to tilt my seat back so it was slightly uncomfortable (but not crazy), and the iPod USB connection was a little finicky (but still useful as I could listen to my own music). Overall a good experience and a really nice host!
If you want a cheap island ride, this is your car. If you’re expecting a perfect car look elsewhere. If you are cool with a car that will get you a to b for cheap and you drive stick, this car is great.

Very joyful experience! First and foremost the car is in great and reliable condition. We did enjoy our trip to big island Hawaii. The owner is very friendly. Besides the car they also provided a lot of useful information for local traveling. Would share the car again with the same owner if I go back.

Loved renting from Everell. It was a last minute booking because we had a mishap with a Turo host just an hour before we booked with Everell (the host did not show😒) Fortunately we were able to get squeezed in last minute and I was able to make it to my appointment in Kamuela just in time. Everell was a life saver. The car was ready to go with the key when we arrived to pick it up. Everything went smoothly from the beginning to end. I would most definitely reccomend them to anyone. Car was as described - no A/C, slow acceleration, but perfectly fine for just gettin around. Nevin was very easy to communicate with and had no problems. Great value. Would rent again.
Really highly recommended , he was kind enough to pick us from airport and then dropped as off as well on the end of the trip . Car was running great, I wouldnt worry much about the exterior of the car as long as its reliable, and can take you everywhere, also good on gas , will be back in the future and will defiantly have him again.
