Description

Try our 2020 Tesla Model 3 with FULL SELF-DRIVING CAPABILITY (FSD) in addition to Autopilot. Many Tesla owners advertise “Autopilot,” but this Tesla has FULL SELF-DRIVING (an additional paid software package), meaning it can change lanes, navigate interstate interchanges, enter and exit interstates, and navigate through stop signs and traffic lights (some features are still in beta) with limited driver supervision. We have also included the Premium Connectivity subscription so our renters can get the complete Tesla experience. Rent our vehicle before you get yours, and test drive it in Sunny Southern California. Rent for any type of business, event, special occasion, or just because you want to test it out. Our Standard Plus Model 3 Tesla comes with the following features: 1. FULL SELF-DRIVING, Autopilot, and PREMIUM CONNECTIVITY 2. 217 mile range 3. 140 mph 4. 5.3 seconds 0 to 60 mph 5. 19” Sport Wheels. 6. Wireless phone charger. 7. All weather floor mats (interior, rear and front trunk). Our goal is to make renting this vehicle simple and easy for you. - We can pick you up at the airport for a small fee. -- PICK-UP/DELIVERY/RETURN --. If you are looking for a cost-effective way to pick up our car, we recommend using Uber or Lyft; however, you can also leave your car safely parked at my house. If you choose for me to deliver it, i can gladly do so. If you rent for more than five days, we can waive the delivery fee. The car can be charged at any regular charging station or supercharger. Charging stations can be found using the car's map system. Charging adaptors are included to use at any charging station. - The car can be fully charged at any tesla supercharger station (renter pays supercharging fees) and takes less than 30 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% (80% is sufficient to qualify as a “full charge” return). The car doesn't need to be fully charged when returned, but you will be charged a small fee for us to fully recharge it (to 80%). - No smoking of any kind, eating/drinking (water is ok), or pets inside vehicle. An additional Fee for the cleaning will be charge if these instructions aren’t followed. - We enjoy making sure every renter is satisfied with the appearance of the car. Please treat it as if it were your own! The car should be returned clean and in good condition or a small cleaning fee may apply to hand wash only. - Should you receive a parking ticket, there will be a $20 transaction fee + ticket. - If you don’t know how to drive the Model 3, here is a link you can use for a Complete guide https://youtu.be/9lD99mG5q90. - We are also happy to provide a full orientation upon pick-up for those new to Tesla’s. -NOTE PLEASE DON’T GO BELOW 30% ON THE BATTERY!! -If you leave the car battery at 0% you won’t be able to keep driving and the car will need to be towed to the nearest Tesla charging station and you will be fully charge for that plus an additional fee.

Faqs

  • How do I engage self-driving mode?

While driving, double tap the gear shifting lever to the right of the steering wheel twice. The car will enter self-driving mode.

  • How do I put the Tesla in drive?

Place the key card in the designated spot/grove in the center console, press the brake, press the shifting lever to the right of the steering wheel.

  • How do I unlock the Tesla when picking up the car from a drop site?

We will remotely unlock the Tesla once you confirm identity and take a selfie with the car.

  • How do I open the Tesla door?

Once it's unlocked, push the "thicker" portion of the door handle.

  • Can I use my Spotify?

Yes, but please remember to log out.

  • How do I charge the Tesla?

A Tesla supercharger station can plug directly into the Tesla. For other charger types, there are adapters stored in the Tesla's trunk to allow charging from a variety of plug-in types.

  • Does outside temperature impact range?

Yes. Range can be impacted by extreme cold or hot temperatures; however, the impact will seem far more noticeable in cold weather. Tesla high voltage batteries are regulated to keep the battery temperature within optimal boundaries. Even if the vehicle is not being operated, the high voltage battery temperature is monitored and regulated to prolong its lifespan and performance – this is why you may notice the compressor running even while parked. If you're driving in low temperatures, follow these winter driving tips.

  • Why does estimated range decrease overnight while my car is off?

It is expected for a Tesla car to consume around 1% of charge per day while parked. In some cases, you may notice that consumption is higher. We recommend deactivating features such as preconditioning, Sentry Mode, Keep Climate On and any aftermarket equipment when not needed. Note: Aftermarket equipment connected to the 12V system and/or third party mobile applications which collect data about your vehicle can decrease range while parked and reduce the battery lifespan. Tesla does not recommend using aftermarket equipment, and any damage to your vehicle's hardware or software resulting from unauthorized access to vehicle data through non-Tesla parts or accessories is not covered by warranty.

  • Why is my displayed estimated range decreasing faster than miles driven?

Displayed range is based on regulating agency certification (EPA) and is not adapted based on driving pattern. Your driving behaviors and environmental conditions can impact your car's efficiency, and therefore its range. To see estimated range based on personalized energy consumption, open the Energy app.

  • How high and Low can the battery be?

Repeated full charges can negatively impact li-ion battery cells, which is why Tesla recommends to only daily charge to 90% capacity and to charge to 100% only when needed for long trips. CEO Elon Musk recommended 80% daily charging: Lowest 30% and Highest 80%. NOTE PLEASE DON’T GO BELOW 30% ON THE BATTERY!!

  • Will I be charge for charging the Tesla at any station?

Yes. Free unlimited Supercharging has not been offered since 2017 per Tesla. So you will be charge the amount you use to charge the car.
