Enjoy a unique blend of new age technology and luxury with our Tesla Model 3! It feels like you’re in a spaceship, and the design and function is game-changing. The car comes equipped with features not offered in a standard vehicle: it has regenerative braking technology, live video of your blind spot when your turn signal is switched on, and also a ton of fun games on the central touchscreen! This is a fantastic car to use if you are staying local! There are a plethora of supercharging stations in Columbus, so keeping it charged is easy. As much as we love this car, we don't recommend it for long road trips outside of Columbus. FAQs
Where do I charge the Tesla?
There are a Supercharging Stations located throughout Columbus (Downtown, Grandview, Polaris, and Grove City). You are able to utilize the GPS on the Tesla's tablet in order to locate these stations. We also provide you a charger that can be plugged into a regular wall outlet if you plan on parking it in a private garage during your trip. Please be aware that plugging it into a regular outlet, or bringing it to a ChargePoint station, will be significantly slower than a Supercharging Station. Any on-trip charging you do at a supercharging station will be sent to you via Turo for reimbursement once your trip ends.
Will I receive the Tesla fully charged?
80% is recommended for daily travel. In order to preserve the longevity of the battery, we do not typically charge it to 100%. It is expected that the Tesla be returned at the amount it was given to you in. If not, you will be charged for the post-trip recharge. We do offer a prepaid re-charge 'Extra' if you believe that will be more convenient for your trip.
Why is the battery draining when I'm not driving?
There is something called 'ghost draining' that happens especially during the colder months. This is something you want to be aware of, especially if you are parking the vehicle outside during the winter. We recommend if you are unable to plug the vehicle in overnight, that you not leave the car with anything under 35% overnight (especially during the winter time).
What is the range on the Tesla?
When charged to 100%, range is approximately 190 miles. Because we give the vehicle to you with around 80%.
