Car will be dropped off with the key inside the center console at the location so you can pick up anytime near the reservation time. When you pick up, please upload a photo of your drivers ID so that I can check you in. You can delete that photo afterwards. When you drop off, just leave the keys inside again and drop me a message. For your car, you can leave it at the plaza (same day only) or on the residential street nearby for overnight. It’s a safe area but I still advise not to leave anything valuable inside and not to leave any bags visible.
1. Per Turo's "Prohibited Uses Policy", prohibited vehicle uses and activities include driving a manual transmission car without being an expert in the use of clutches and manual transmissions. If the drivetrain of a manual transmission car is damaged, the primary guest will be presumed to be at fault and will be held fully liable for repair of any damaged components of the car. 2. Absolutely no smoking - cigarettes, marijuanas, etc. Renter will be charged for smoking or any resulting odor 3. A USB C / Apple Lightening / Micro USB cable is included. If the cable is not returned with the car, renter will be charged $25 for the missing cable.

No. This car can only fit 2 people.
Can I drive on the Express Lanes during peak hours?
This car is not equipped with the special Fastrak Flex required for using Express Lanes. Renters will be billed for any fees and toll payments occurred during the rental period.

No. Per Turo's "Prohibited Uses Policy" (https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203990570-Prohibited-uses), prohibited vehicle uses and activities include: Driving a manual transmission car without being an expert in the use of clutches and manual transmissions.
How can I cross bridges that require toll (e.g. Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, San Mateo Bridge, Dumbarton Bridge, etc)?
Bay Area Fastrak is registered with the car's license plate, enabling tag less recognition when crossing bridges. Rental will be billed for toll transactions occurred during the rental period. I recommend proactively registering for a temporary Fastrak account to pay for future toll that may or may not incur at this website: https://www.bayareafastrak.org/en/tolls/one-time-payment.shtml

There are 2 cup holders and small cubbies in the middle behind the elbows. Note that there is no traditional glove compartment.

Where can I park my own car when renting?
If you are picking up from Foster City, you can leave it at the plaza (same day only) or on the residential street nearby for overnight. It’s a safe area but I still would make sure not to leave any valuable thing inside and not to leave any bags visible.
Why am I receiving an Apple AirTag notification?
The car is equipped with an AirTag to track the car. It is refreshed periodically not in real time. This is intended to find the car in case anything happens, not to track someone in real time. It does not record any location history or path.

After owning a few of Mazda's previous generations I can tell you that this Miata was a treat to drive! Very luxurious ride quality and it has all the modern bells and whistles without losing any of its fun sports car feel. The best part of our trip was driving on the Golden Gate Bridge with the top down!

Clive
Clive is an excellent host who is quick to respond to any messages. His Miata was also a blast to drive along the coast for a couple of days. I highly recommend Clive as a host and his Miata to anyone looking for a fun drive.

Evgenii
We had an awesome day with Clive’s Miata, it was a lot of fun. The only minor feedback is that the car could have been cleaner both inside and outside.
