Violation of this policy will result in a $150 fee. **Early Pick-ups: The vehicle cannot be released before the scheduled trip start time unless the trip is modified. Early pick-ups are not allowed due to insurance reasons. **Late Returns: A fee will be assessed for late returns. **Lock Box Usage: Do not drive with the lock box on the window. The lock box is for key exchange purposes only. **Early Drop-offs: Early drop-offs are acceptable. However, if dropping off at a parking garage, you are responsible for any associated parking fees. **Curb Damage to Rims: Avoid curb damage to the rims. Curb damage may result in a $350 charge.

    To access the car, follow these steps: - A lockbox will be attached to the window. -Follow the instructions provided in the first message received. -Provide your Driver's License, including a selfie with your Driver's License next to your face. -Upon arrival at the car, upload a clear selfie of yourself with the car. -Once the photos are received and verified, the access code will be sent to you.

  • What happens if I return the vehicle late?

    A fee will be assessed for late returns. Any vehicle that is still on the road after the scheduled trip end will be reported late NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Is it okay to drop off the vehicle early?

    Yes, early drop-offs are acceptable. However, if dropping off at a parking garage, you are responsible for any associated parking fees.

  • Can I use my own EZPass for tolls during the trip?

    While you are more than welcome to use your own EZPass, we prefer that you don't. Using our provided EZPass helps avoid potential violations posted to our account due to incompatible or incorrect passes for certain tolls. If you choose to use your own EZPass, please make sure to place it in the silver bag provided to avoid double charges.

  • What happens if I go through a toll during my trip?

    Any tolls incurred during the trip will be billed after the trip ends. Please note that it may take up to 90 days to receive tolls in the mail or for them to be posted to our EZPass account. NO EXTRA FEES

The car was fine and drove well. I am giving 2 stars because the host was very unprofessional, very poor communication, he has a robot sending message and doesn’t read or ignores messages sent to him. On the first day of rental for absolutely no reason he decided to disable the car leaving me stranded in the middle of the night. I had to track him down to have him re-enable the car so I could turn it on. The best part was that he didn’t even apologize for the aggravation he caused me and ignored every single message where I asked him to explain why he disabled the car.

PLATINUMAUTORENTALS's response

Luigi was disrespectful and very unresponsive, we responded to all messages in a timely manner, in fact any messages that were sent were answered within 2-3 minutes. He continued to say that we disabled the car which never occurred and anytime we asked him to further explain we got no response. We believe this was a tactic to try and get a refund from us which Turo declined.
