PLEASE NOTE: if you are browsing vehicles on the mobile app, "Grand Touring AT" is what my car reads as. That means "automatic transmission" and it is INCORRECT. I have tried repeatedly to get Turo to fix this, but their support hasn't been able to resolve this, so far. My car is a 6 speed manual, NOT an auto. This MX5 RF is a lightweight (< 2350 pounds), incredibly responsive, RWD hardtop convertible (RF model means Retractable Fastback). It can raise / lower the top in under 15 seconds. The clutch and transmission give good, responsive feedback and are incredibly easy to use. The car has a Bose sound system, satnav and you can sync any modern Android or Apple phone to it. This car really should only come in one color, the one we chose, Soul Red Crystal Metallic. It's the only red I truly like on a vehicle. The trunk space is definitely on the small side, so you will need to pack light if it's being taken on a long trip. On the highways, I can get over 40 mpg out of the 2.0 liter naturally-aspirated I4. I am 6'1" and my head does not touch the top with the roof up, but it's close. If you're over 6'2", I'm not sure you will be able to comfortably fit in it, and the seats do not lower. Note that this car is a true 2-seater; there is NO back seat, as the photos will show. Chickens and dog not included :) ALL of my cars are dog-friendly. I include a seat cover for the passenger seat and if you have a dog, I ask that you use that to protect the leather, please. A bike rack (holds 2, up to 70 pounds total) is available for a small charge. ALSO...I now offer a reward to my renters for word-of-mouth referrals.
