Description
Our 1974 Ford Bronco Ranger has been mechanically fully restored to be a safe and reliable operating vehicle. It was intentionally left with its original burnt orange paint with lots of faded patina that shows its history and gives it unique character. The seats have been nicely reupholstered to look original with the houndstooth cloth inserts. The vehicle has an automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive (street use only). The 302ci V8-cylinder engine has tons of power. The exhaust note is aggressive but sounds great. The manual brakes have good feel and stopping power, but require stronger leg action to operate. There is power steering. The vehicle handles well at stock ride height with slightly larger tires. This Bronco is very unique and stands out on the road. It has a compact size with great visibility and high riding position. It is lots of fun and gets great attention. Notes: -The roof is bolted on the vehicle and cannot be removed -Manual brakes require more leg force to operate -The vehicle cannot be used off road -The car has minimal insulation so the road noise is high -There is no radio

Holy smokes. Rock solid Bronco. Can’t say enough good things. True classic that turns heads. Be ready to answer a lot of questions from strangers at pit stops or get 100 waves and head nods in traffic. Everything works great on it and motor is strong. 10/10 would rent again. The team was so communicative and made sure our in/out was easy and tailored to my timeframes. Thanks gang!!

Very unfortunately the Bronco broke down twice on the first day, resulting in a tow from PCH. Booked for a 7 day trip. Host offered us his 89’ wrangler as we had surfboards for 3 days until the Bronco was running. The host refused to return the cost difference between the Bronco and the Wrangler for the days we did not have the Bronco (4 days). Very different rides. The Wrangler is half the price on Turo, he wished us luck. These things happen, but was hoping it would be dealt with fairly.

We went above and beyond to provide great service when the Bronco had an issue (the fuel pump went out unexpectedly). We delivered our Jeep to Malibu to meet the guest and handle the tow. After the Bronco was fixed, we delivered it to Laguna Beach to swap back. They were never without a vehicle on their surf trip. We offered free LAX pickup and waived fuel costs for the inconvenience. Hosts cannot issue refunds directly as Turo handles payment. We did the best we could under the circumstances.
