When I received the car, the key was duct taped together and quite wiggly. The next morning upon inserting into the ignition, the key exploded and completely fell apart, making it nearly impossible to turn the ignition without the key falling apart again. Was disappointed to receive a car where there was very obviously an issue that was poorly patched together. Can only hope that the next driver gets the replacement key instead of my hack job glued key. I used the car to drive across state multiple times a day for the next five days, and everytime I started the car, I was terribly nervous I wouldn't be able to get the key to work. Had to reach out multiple times to inquire about the promised partial refund to the host and customer service before finally getting a response from the host, and zero follow up from customer service. Overall, this added an extra element of anxiety to my already stressful travels that could have easily been avoided prior to my trip starting. Was my first time using Turo and unfortunately l will not be using the service again.
