Please make sure you download the TURO app and have your phone on you at all times during your trip (including before pickup and return) so we can communicate with each other. -If it is believed the driver of the vehicle, renter, and/or passengers of the vehicle has COVID-19 or any other communicable disease during or immediately prior to rental of the vehicle, they shall make the owner aware immediately via Turo inbox. Refunds and partial reimbursement decisions will be made on a case by case scenario. Booking this vehicle is understanding and acceptance of such. -No smoking (or smoke odors lingering in the vehicle), no eating/drinking (other than water) in vehicle ($500 fine). Booking this vehicle is understanding and acceptance of such. -No animals in vehicle (Up to $500 fine). Booking this vehicle is understanding and acceptance of such. -No Damage to the rims/curb rash (Up to $250 fee per rim). Booking this vehicle is understanding and acceptance of such. -No unauthorized drivers, no illegal items in the vehicle or associated with the vehicle, no driving under the influence of anything that would impair the driver, no racing, no aggressive driving. (This may result in fines up to $500 as well as mandatory return of the vehicle by the renter with no reimbursement of reservation cost and fees, regardless of additional time remaining on the reservation.) Booking this vehicle is understanding and acceptance of such. -If penalties or fees are accrued by the renter or renter's guests, they shall be paid within 24 hours of identification of the issue/s. Jason was accommodating to our early arrival, earlier than expected. He made sure to meet us and get us all set-up with this beautiful Mustang. Car was clean and ready to go. This car is incredible. A very smooth ride, easy to use, a lot of fun to be in. Check-out was easy and fast. I absolutely recommend Jason and his vehicles for accessible rental while in The Charlotte, NC area. Jason was kind, attentive, and very reliable. 5 Stars!

I had to return another car before getting to Jason and I was late by an hour (as Uber cancelled on me twice) and could not communicate it with Jason. I being new to the city (and country) did not help it either. Being late to pickup was my mistake and I can understand that Jason was pissed at it and he charged me $40 for being late by an hour to pick up the car - to pickup and NOT late while returning. On top of that, he was not available physically to talk and explain things. Also he wanted the late fees paid as cash or Cashapp/Venmo. I was uncomfortable with that and enquired with Turo customer support and they gave me the right advice to not give cash but, to do the transaction via the Turo app. The person who was there to hand over the car made the communication worse as he was also pissed and told Jason on phone that I was not ready to pay the late fees (for pickup) although I agreed to pay via the Turo app and communicated this directly to Jason via Messages on Turo. The whole fiasco made me feel terrible and I wanted to return his car as soon as possible. So, I requested Jason that I want to return in the next day and he denied. I mentioned that I was not comfortable taking his car. I wanted to cancel it right there but, it was not possible. He denied the request and forced me to take the car for the scheduled three day trip even though I told him I am mentally affected and exhausted by the whole initial hostility. I took the car to my drive way, kept it there and did not drive it at all. I called Turo customer support - and they were great - requested them that I wanted to return the car early. Turo support helped me to return it. After Turo support convinced Jason to accept the early car return, I wanted to give it back before it was night as I did not want to drive in the night. He made it even worse by asking me to return the car at 9PM that day or 6 AM next day - making me more uncomfortable with unreasonable timings. I returned it at 9PM that day even though I did not want to drive in the night. His associate looked at the car and rubbed his fingers over the rim of the car tires and said that I have damaged it. He asked me to pay $250 per rim. I had taken pictures of them before and after. There was no damage and I made it clear to Jason. At first Jason accused that I damaged it however, after asking him to take a look at the before/after pictures, he realized there was no damage. In short, I had a horrible experience, mentally exhausting day spending hours chatting with an unreasonable host, spending hours on call with Turo support and not even driving the car. I drive it less than 20 miles - quick note: the car was great, neatly kept, well-maintained and in great condition. In my opinion, the host was hostile, not willing to listen and unreasonable with his demands and also charged me an extra $40 for being one hour late to pickup (not late while returning it) and also made me return the car at 9 PM the same day. I will never rent from this host again.
