We were supposed to pick up the car at 8:30 am but host released it after 45 mins to an hour of waiting since the car was not ready and was very dirty. They made an excuse that they thought the rental was still the next day. We took a photo of the dashboard after driving a mile and we noticed a warning sign at the start of trip but we did not mind since host said car was all good. In New Jersey free way, we smelled a burning rubber and car started swaying so we pulled over and found that rear passenger tire was flat. We did research and found out that warning sign meant that one of the tire was underinflated. We called the host and told us that we should change tire ourselves and so we did changed using the spare tire and informed him we will just return the car because we no longer felt safe but he said that it does not make sense to turn around and to just go in a tire shop to have the tire fixed and he will just reimburse us. We told him we replaced it and we needed the refund and he said he will still contact turo and never heard of him after that. We spent a couple of hours fixing that tire and replacing it. We almost got into an accident. We found out in the host reviews that this also happened to other and he also blamed the guests instead of making sure that cars were ready before the said trip. I contacted the host again and he is putting the blame on me and does not want to own up that car was not ready and also has a needs serviced warning on dashboard. He specifically told turo that I should be responsible for the tire replacement. This was our first time using this app and will also be the last time.

I had an amazing time renting this car. My pickup was very smooth, as Felix communicated with me in a timely fashion and accommodated my few changes. I ran late an he stay with no problem for an extra few minutes, I needed to extend because of work an he assisted me with that as well, etc. The car itself when I first received it drove well an the interior was beautiful, I almost wanted to buy it from Felix (laughing out loud). The only thing I had to do was put air in the tires which was pretty easy but once done I didn’t have to worry about it again and continue to fill up the gas. All in all an amazing experience an I encourage others to rent this car as well. I never leave reviews but I felt I had to because I myself read reviews before purchasing things. Either way thank you Felix, I will be looking to rent from you in the near future anytime I need to do another short trip.

Felix was very understanding the two times I needed to extend my trip for work. The car was nice and clean very reliable so I felt safe.

I came to pick up the car at 10pm and the area that the car was parked in was very sketchy I felt uncomfortable having to take pictures of the car. Felix also showed up 30 mins late to hand me the keys and the gas tank was less than half full. The car also smelled like cigarettes and I had to buy an air freshener to try and mask the smell. Not sure why it says his response time is 8 minutes because some messages Felix never responded to me. I was able to drive the car to California and back and never once had any troubles and the AC worked great so that was good.
