Description

The 2012 Ford Flex is not your typical 7-passenger CUV, at least not if looks count for anything. Where most CUVs attempt to mirror SUVs, the Flex takes a decidedly different approach. Its long and boxy silhouette is reminiscent of the big station wagons of the 1960s and 1970s, plus it’s lower to the ground than an SUV. The Flex is all about transporting people. There is no arguing that you can find these same attributes in a minivan, but none of the minivans we can think of have the Flex’s cool factor. If you think the Flex’s wide body and long wheelbase make it a bear to manipulate in tight spots, think again. The Ford Flex’s ability to maneuver through tight turns is really quite impressive, and its smooth ride and whisper-quiet interior further an already pleasant driving experience. Sway and body roll are kept in check by a taut suspension, big wheel and tire packages and the Flex’s low-to-the-ground stance. Despite is boxy appearance, the Flex glides effortless at freeway speeds, slipping through the air with little buffeting or wind noise. Of course, it’s the Flex’s generous helping of laminated glass that helps keep wind and road noise at bay. The Ford Flex’s all-wheel drive is sure to add another level of assurance when encountering slippery road conditions.

Guidelines

For the respect of the vehicle, future renters and myself please DO NOT SMOKE (cigarettes or marijuana) in this vehicle -- $250 fee. Also, please no fragrant car deodorizers of any sort or I must charge to get the smell out; $50 odor removal fee will apply.

Faqs

  • What happens if I do not have time to refuel the vehicle?

    I will refuel the vehicle for you, I will add a $10 inconvenience fee to the cost of the gas. Please note there is a gas station on Tower road near the hotels. If the tank is below 1/2 I will charge the pre-paid fuel rate on the extras page.

  • Where will I meet you at the airport?

    Turo has an approved lot in the WEST economy lot section U3. After I pick you up we will drive about 10 minutes off the property to complete the hand-off.

  • What happens if I (or my passengers) smoke in the vehicle?

    Please not there is NO SMOKING of ANYTHING in my vehicle. You will be charged for an interior detail and the cost to run a special machine to get all of the smell out of the car. This is about $250.

  • What if my flight is delayed?

    Please provide me with your flight information. I will also be tracking your flight as we get close to the pick-up time. If you are notified about a delay please let me know as soon as you can so I can make the necessary adjustments to my schedule.

  • Can I use the Toll Roads?

    Yes; There are no toll booths; just drive through and I will send you a reimbursement when I get my the toll bill. You will be charged the toll rate plus a $10 handling fee.

Kevin was great with his communication and directions. The vehicle itself worked great for our needs. However, the only issue we had was getting into the vehicle in the parking lot. It took over 30 minutes for the touch code on the door to work in freezing temperatures with children. That was extremely frustrating!

Thank you John for your rental and honest review. I truly apologize for the issue in the cold with the factory door lock system. I have already found an alternative option to bypass this system to prevent this from happening in the future.

Absolutely WONDERFUL experience! Kevin was so helpful, caring and attentive! He was very detailed with instructions and gave additional information to help with every step of the process. I had alot of questions since it was my first time renting with Turo and renting a vehicle in Colorado, and he helped guide me through every concern I had. The airport and rental car process can usually be so complicated, but Kevin made the process so much smoother and made sure our trip went great! Hands down BEST customer service and I will definitely rent from him again!
