Some Guidelines: Think of Turo as borrowing a car from a friend. More like Air BnB and less like Enterprise Rent-a-car. Lucille isn't "just a rental" It's a car I care about and want to take care of. The car will be delivered to you clean with a full tank of gas and ideally a full charge. For the sake of the next guest, please return it the same way. Otherwise, there may be a cleaning fee, or charge to refill the tank. Smoking: Please, no cigarette or cannabis smoking, vaping, burning incense, or using fog machines in the car. I'd love to let you, but Lucille is asthmatic. Seriously though, please consider the enjoyment of the next person and don't smoke. A cleaning fee will be charged if there are signs of smoking in the car. Leaving the DMV Region: I love taking SSP on road trips and you can too. But if you're going to leave the area (MD, VA, DC), please give me a polite heads up. Lost Key: It's ok. No need to stress, the key is totally replaceable. You'll be asked to cover a fee of $250 to replace the key and have it programmed by the dealer.

• I'd rather not pay for parking at the airport; what are my options?

  You have a couple of options if you'd rather save the cost of parking and pick up your care at my home. The airport terminal has easy access to the metro train, which costs $2.50 each way. I'm two blocks away from the Rosslyn metro stop. A cab or Uber ride will cost between $19 and $27 on average, and I'm only a few minutes drive away from the airport.

• You offer free delivery to the Reagan Airport, but what about parking?

  I enjoy being able to provide a five-star experience for my visitors. Making it possible for you to step off the plane and into one of my cars is fantastic. It's an added bonus being able to provide the experience for free. But the rise in parking costs at the airport is threatening my ability to keep delivery free. Parking at the terminal is now $27 per day. Even economy parking is $17 per day. Having your car ready for you now costs as much as a whole day's rental. I will now offer guests the option of delivery to the terminal garage o economy parking, but you'll be asked to cover the cost.

• I'm unfamiliar with contactless pickup; how does it work?

  Before you arrive, I'll message you through the Turo app requesting you upload pictures of your license, etc. On the day of your arrival, you'll receive a message from me at the phone number listed in your profile. The message will include a description of where the car is parked, directions to get there, and a couple of photos to help you find it. Finally, once you've arrived at the car, take any images you want of its condition and climb in. It's that simple! The vehicle will be unlocked, and the key will be safely tucked away in the center console.

• I saw a flash behind me, and I think I got a speeding camera ticket; what do I do?

  Speed Cameras: Silver Slow Poke is so smooth to drive that sometimes you don't realize you're speeding. Until you see a flash in the rear-view mirror. That's the sign letting you know that one of our many speed cameras nabbed you. No worries. Text or call me, let me know, and I will keep an eye out for the ticket. They are typically between $35 - $50 unless you're really cruising. Once I get the notice, I will reach out through Turo and let you know.
