All the while, it cradles up to four occupants in a luxurious and avant-garde cabin. The i3 even serves up downright respectable acceleration and crisp handling. Guidelines
- No smoking or vaping please. There is a $250 charge if there is any evidence of either. - No pets unelss approved in advance in writing - Return with a full tank of gas and at least 80% charge (or prepay fuel/charging) to avoid recharging fees of $10 for 51-80%, $20 for 21-50%, $50 for 0-20%. - Fill with premium gas only - Renter will be responsible for any tolls or tickets incurred during rental period.

How do I charge the car?
The car can be plugged into any wall outlet (NEMA5-15) using the included 25 ft. charging cable located in the front storage area under the hood. This cable can also be plugged into a Level 2 (NEMA6-20) outlet for faster charging. Important: the end that plugs into the car is water resistant, but the charging box (attached to the cable) must be located indoors to prevent damage. There are also many free charging stations located throughout the triangle which can be located using the car's GPS or the PlugShare or Charge Point apps.
What is the range on a full charge?
All electric range on a full charge is 65 miles, but will vary depending on driving conditions. This is more than enough for around town, but you won't ever suffer from range-anxiety. The engineers at BMW added a small gas generator that kicks on when the battery gets low and actually charges the car while you drive. This more than doubles the total range to 130 miles without recharging or refueling. This car is ideal for around town, but not a great fit for long trips as you would need to stop frequently to recharge or refuel.
