Description
Experience a brand new 2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range with up to 358 miles of range. The top speed is 145mph with a 0-60 mph of 4.2 seconds. All stats are per the Tesla website. You will be renting an all electric, car of the future, in Midnight Silver Metallic (grey) with premium black leather interior. It has dual motors with all wheel drive. Comes with autopilot that enables the car to auto steer which assists in steering within a clearly marked lane, and uses traffic-aware cruise control. It also has traffic-aware Cruise Control that matches the speed of your car to that of the surrounding traffic. No need for keys, you can connect the car to your phone or use the key card. If the key card is lost, we will have to charge a $50 replacement fee. Pickup location is in a public place and easily accessible for charging! Once you’ve booked, specific location information will be provided. Please let us know if you would like a tour/walk through of the vehicle. Driving a Tesla is like no other car on the road, so there’s definitely a learning curve, and we’re happy to answer any questions. If no walk through is needed, we can make this delivery contactless at your convenience.
Guidelines
Treat the car as you would your own. Clean out garbage and keep the car as clean as possible. Please no smoking in the vehicle. If we smell smoke in the vehicle, we will charge a $250 cleaning fee. Also, please no pets to protect the interior of the car. If there’s evidence of a pet in the vehicle there will be a $250 cleaning fee. Only the registered renter(s) via Turo may drive. Do not drive recklessly. This is one of the safest cars in the world but you still must drive carefully. Renter/Driver is responsible for all legal violations including but not limited to Parking Tickets and Moving Violations. As a courtesy and for convenience, we will provide the initial payment if you charge at a Tesla Supercharger or use the Fastrack but we will ask for a 100% reimbursement at the end of your trip. Return the vehicle with 80% battery charge or pay the convenience fee of $30 for Prepaid EV recharge and you can return with 50 miles of range. To keep the car clean, only use Touch-less and or Hand Wash to clean the exterior. Renter is financially responsible for any wear and tear to the exterior or interior of the car during the rental period. Fees will apply if there is wear & tear to the inside and outside of the vehicle; fees will vary based on the cost to get it fixed & missed rides on Turo while the car is being fixed. Please do not disable the mobile access on the car, this helps in recovering the vehicle in case the vehicle is stolen. If disabled it will be reported to police as stolen immediately. How do I clean a Tesla?
To keep the car clean, only use Touch-less and or Hand Wash to clean the exterior. Do not go through a regular, machine operated car wash. This will ruin the paint on the car.
How to I charge (or fuel) a Tesla?
This is an electric vehicle so it does not take gas. You have two options for charging: by plugging into a regular wall outlet, or using a Tesla Supercharger which are usually conveniently located and can be found by searching for the nearest one in the car maps. Cable and adapters are included and must be returned back at the end of the rental. Fees will apply if missing.
I've never driven a Tesla before. Can you me a tour/walk through?
William and Marah (depending on who will be at the drop off), would be more than happy to stay and give you a tutorial. Just please let us know when booking so we allot the appropriate amount of time for this at delivery.
How do you handle Supercharging fees and road/bridge tolls?
You will be billed through the Turo app at the end of your trip of all the Supercharging incurred, and toll fees.
