If this is asking for too much then please accept my apologies.

It was the perfect car for us to use for the day; lovely to drive and ideal to park anywhere 😊 We were particularly impressed with the host’s understanding on us being delayed coming home and kindly extending the agreed arrival time. Overall we were very happy and definitely use again!

The car worked well, had a full tank, and was easy to find. The owners had only one phone number on TURO’s website but wanted to be called on another which they emailed to me; not good practice. They didn’t use the TURO app for all the communication (they should). The car wasn’t clean inside - there was sand and dirt on the seats suggesting it also hadn’t been cleaned with anti-viral spray. This matters especially in these days of COVID-19. The owners claimed I didn’t return the key to the glove compartment (I did) and tried to charge me over £140 for a replacement. I disputed this with TURO who found in my favour. However, it warned me if I ever use this service again to video myself: returning the key to the glove compartment, calling the owner to remotely lock the car, then checking the car is locked with the key inside - all on video. This shouldn’t be necessary - TURO should have better systems.

Ifti and Aamir's response

Jen is upset over the key issue and making up other faults all of a sudden. The reason we know she didn't return the key is that we got an alert from the tracker that the key is missing. Pity she took her anger out on us. Turo didn't find in her favour. They simply decided not to do anything. If Jen had simply said she forgot to replace the key and made a mistake we wouldn't be bothered. What bothers me is she's lied. We won't be renting to her again. I warn you to think twice before you do.
