This economical but spacious Dacia is the perfect companion for touring on a budget. It’s compact size means it’s great for narrow highland roads but it still offers 5 door comfort with great luggage space. The Dacia is simple and straightforward but offers Air Conditioning, Bluetooth, remote locking and electric front windows for convenience too. It will get you from A to B with the minimum of fuss and great economy to help your travel budget go further! Collect the Dacia from Inverkeithing Railway Station which is 15 minutes by rail from Edinburgh city centre, 67 daily trains from Edinburgh Waverley. If the bus is easier collect the car from Inverkeithing Ferrytoll Park and Ride, again a 15 minute journey from Edinburgh Airport terminal on the 747 bus. While you are in Fife visit Culross with its 13th Century Abbey, a short drive from Culross will take you to Falkirk and the fabulous Kelpies. Back in Fife the coastal gems of the East Neuk such as Elie and Anstruther are well worth a visit on the way to St.Andrew’s.

How do I get to Inverkeithing from Edinburgh Airport?
The 747 bus runs from right outside the terminal building every 30 minutes 7 days a week. Less than 20 minutes will see you arrive at Inverkeithing Ferrytoll. Just before Inverkeithing the bus crosses the historic Forth Road Bridge which opened in 1964 as the longest suspension bridge in the world outside the United States. You will also get a view of the Forth Bridge, opened in 1890, it's a UNESCO world heritage site and still carries daily traffic of almost 200 trains.
How easy is it to get from Edinburgh city centre to Inverkeithing?
Whilst there are lots of buses to Fife the easiest and quickest way to Inverkeithing from Edinburgh city centre is by rail. The journey from Edinburgh Waverley Station takes around 20 minutes and crosses the incredible Forth Bridge. I will meet you right in front of the station building.
Is Inverkeithing a good starting point for touring?
Inverkeithing has great transport links wherever you are going. Ferrytoll Park and Ride is just beside the main motorway leading south back into Edinburgh or north to Perth Inverness or Aberdeen. St Andrews and the East Neuk are also reached easily from this starting point. The railway station is just over 1 mile frome the motorway and its very simple to reach.

Nigel was amazing, I so appreciated his generosity and kindness. He went above and beyond to make things easy. The car was great; small enough to park anywhere, and big enough for 4 of us (+ sometimes carry-on suitcases) to be comfortable on the open road. Thank you so much Nigel!
Pete
Very professional service; car in fine shape and easy to drive. Very miserly on the petrol which was nice. Just the right size with two people with lots of luggage and a set of clubs and guitar; folded down the rear seats.
