The security deposit, managed by Turo, also acts as a deterrent against careless use, covering potential damages that might not be fully covered by insurance. 2) Responsibility for Damages: It is crucial to make it clear that renters are responsible for any damages they cause. This guideline helps ensure that renters drive carefully and return the vehicle in the condition they received it. 3) Prohibited Uses: Stating explicitly that the car cannot be used for illegal purposes, racing, or off-roading is important to reduce the risk of damage and liability. Such activities can significantly increase wear and tear and the potential for serious damage or legal issues. 4) Smoking and Pet Policies: These policies help maintain the interior condition of the vehicle. Smoking inside the car can lead to persistent odors and potential burns or stains, while pets can cause similar issues with hair and scratches. 5) Vehicle Condition and Return: Guidelines for fuel levels, cleanliness, and general condition upon return are essential for maintaining your car’s value and ensuring it is ready for the next renter without additional expenditure for cleaning and fueling. (5.1) Fuel Policy: The Panamera Turbo must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pickup. If the car is returned with less fuel, the renter will be charged for the cost of fuel required to fill the tank plus a refuelling service fee. This policy ensures that each renter handles fuel costs during their use of the vehicle, maintaining fairness and convenience for all parties involved. (5.2) Condition Upon Return: Renters are expected to return the car in the same condition as it was at the start of the rental, barring normal wear and tear. This includes maintaining interior and exterior cleanliness. Failure to return the car in such condition may result in additional cleaning fees. 6) No Drifting, Racing, offroading, or Burnout. These activities put excessive stress on the vehicle and increase the risk of damage and accidents. Engaging in any of these prohibited behaviours will result in penalties, potential removal from future listings, and financial responsibility for any damages incurred. 7) NO SMOKING 🚭 NO PET. If there is any indication of cigarette or marijuana smoke in the vehicle, you will be assessed a $250 cleaning fee through Turo as per Turo's policies. Bad odor will affect our service rating on Turo and the cleaning process take hours
