There are lots of free and paid charging stations around the city. CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS: The car has 2 charging ports located on the front directly below the hood. The lever that opens the charging ports cover is located on the left side under the dashboard, next to the hood release lever (if you mix up the two, don’t forget to close the hood after). The smaller port is for Level 2 (slow) chargers and has a J1772 connector. It takes 2-3 hours to charge from a J1772 station, or 6 hours to charge from a regular outlet. The larger charging port is for ChaDeMo Level 3 (fast, AC charging). The stations that have Chademo connectors can charge this car to 80% in 20-30mins. The network of free and paid chargers is very developed in the cities and towns, but can be less developed in rural areas and along highways that are less busy. Please use a PlugShare app or website to see all chargers on the map and verify their availability. Select only J1772 and Chademo connectors to filter out incompatible stations. DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: Being an EV with a short range, you need to be aware of the charging infrastructure, control your available range, and plan your trips accordingly. It’s a perfect car for short city commutes, not so much for long distance and highway driving. You will get up to 90km per charge MAX! To get the maximum range mentioned, you need to avoid or minimize: - use of AC or cabin heater - driving aggressively, with rapid acceleration - using Drive mode instead of ECO mode when selecting a gear - when stopping, use of brakes instead of regeneration - driving on highways, with speeds above 70km/h. The faster you go, the lower efficiency and range you will get Other electronics don’t affect the range much. Standing in traffic doesn’t discharge the battery much either! So with a slow driving in downtown traffic, you will be able to get the longest range.
