Please do not take this vehicle to the USA. Please avoid 407 express toll highway. Please drive carefully and mind the speed and red light cameras in the city. Please be gentle with the light interior, it is very hard to remove any stains from it :)

  • Where can I charge it?

    You can charge at your home using a regular outlet and the Level 1 charger provided with a car (takes 6-7 hours for a full charge). Or you can use charging stations available everywhere, except from remote rural areas. Charging stations of 2 types are compatible with this car: ChaDeMo - Level 3 quick chargers (20 min charge to 80%) J1772 - Level 2 regular chargers (2-4 hours for a full charge) A map with all available chargers can be found in PlugShare app

  • How often do I need to charge the car?

    It depends on the speed it has been driven and usage of AC or cabin heater. Within city at speeds up to 70km/h it will last 70-90km, which means you will to charge safely every 60km or so. On a highway, the range drops to 60-70km, which means the charge will be need to be planned every 50km or so.

  • Does this vehicle have a gasoline engine? Is it a Hybrid?

    Nissan LEAF is a fully electric vehicle, so there is no gas engine in it.

  • How much does it cost to charge it?

    While many chargers around the city are absolutely free, most chargers require payment and may ask for a registration through a specialized app to use them. Charging at home will cost you $1-2 depending on the tariff, Level 2 charging $0-10, Level 3 ChaDeMo $0-30. To see the tariff for a specific station please refer to the PlugShare app.
