Description

Thank you for checking out the Magic Mazda! This vehicle comes equipped with a emergency roadside kit, Snow brush, Tire chains, And spare tire. The horsepower wars that besiege luxury and sports cars, and even full-size family sedans, largely bypass the compact-car class. Whether due to cost or design, power yields to efficiency in this class. Yet the 2013 Mazda 3 is among the few that deftly combines both. Introduced last year, Mazda's new direct-injected 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (dubbed Skyactiv-G) returns as the star of the Mazda 3's power trio. Joined to a six-speed automatic transmission, this engine helps the Mazda 3 achieve 40 mpg on the highway without resorting to tricks like special aerodynamics or automatic transmission shift programming that settles into the highest gear before you've left the driveway. Nor has the increased efficiency compromised horsepower. The Skyactiv engine slots between the 3's 2.0-liter , and its acceleration times are quite competitive for the class. The Skyactiv engine complements the 3's other strengths, including sharp handling, and stylish interior. But for competitive fuel economy integrated with energetic driving character, the 2013 Mazda 3 is hard to beat. 2013 Mazda 3 models This beautiful sedan features 16" alloy wheels with all season tires, power mirrors, power windows, air-conditioning, Height-adjustable driver seat, Tilt steering wheel, 60/40-split-folding rear seat and a rear seat center armrest, Bluetooth (phone and audio streaming), six-speaker sound system with a CD player, auxiliary audio jack and steering wheel controls. the Skyactiv-G engine, automatic power locks, keyless entry, cruise control, a trip computer and USB/AUX audio input. EPA fuel economy estimates for this engine put it among the class leaders: 28 city/40 highway/33 combined for a sedan with automatic transmission. In extensive fuel economy testing, we confirmed that this engine does achieve these impressive figures. Safety Every Mazda 3 comes standard with antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, brake assist, front side airbags and side curtain airbags. In Edmunds brake testing. In government crash testing, the 2013 Mazda 3 received four out of five stars for overall crash protection, five stars for overall frontal protection and three stars for overall side protection. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 3 the highest rating of "Good" in the frontal-offset, side-impact and roof strength tests. Driving The 2013 Mazda 3 will surprise most compact car shoppers with its refined road manners, responsive steering and performance-oriented suspension tuning. It's simply one of the most enjoyable small cars to drive, especially when the road opens up and starts to curve. This holds just as true for the daily commute. The engine's accompanying automatic transmission is also a bright spot, offering shifts that are remarkably quick, responsive and smooth. Interior the mazda 3 shows testament to Mazda's driver-centric philosophy, with clear gauges and controls and -- at night -- a modern vibe enhanced by red and blue instrument and ambient lighting.

Good, but unexpected ending. Jameson was a great host and dropped off/picked up the car. However, a $30 cleaning fee was added at the end because we had driven through rain which resulted in the outside of the car getting dirty and some feathers from my wife's down jacket came off on the passenger seat. A $30 cleaning fee was unacceptable. A car should have to be cleaned after each use and finding little things to add additional charges is a very poor customer experience. This would never have happened if booked through a car rental company. Likely would not book again because of this.

Jameson's response

I’m sorry that you disagree with the cleaning fee. I try my best to be as fair as possible and I feel that the cleaning fee was warranted. I uploaded pre and post trip photos showing the cleaning issues. After you disputed the fee Turo reviewed the photos they agreed this charge was justified. I offer competitive prices and affordable delivery options so when I am left to clean someone else’s mess it is discouraging. Had you selected the prepaid cleaning option this fee would have been averted.

This was my first Turo experience and I can’t say enough good things about the experience and Jameson, the host. He reached out ahead of time to offer options as far as where would be most convenient for me to pick up the vehicle as I was flying in to the Vancouver airport. Communication was very clear, prompt and no details were missed. He had an unfortunate event with the vehicle I was scheduled to rent due to a mishap with another renter, but he contacted me to explain the situation promptly and offered the option of replacing the vehicle with another or canceling the reservation. I accepted the replacement vehicle, which would likely be considered an upgrade to the one I had rented from him at no additional cost. The vehicle was in pristine condition and spotless, and the price and expectations for the rental agreement were very reasonable. Definitely a five star experience. If I’m ever back in Vancouver, I would definitely rent from Jameson again!
