Faqs

  • Do I need to warm up the car in the winter before driving?
All vehicles need to be started and left to idle for several minutes (depending on the severity of the cold) in the winter prior to driving. You should leave the vehicle turned on, idling, until the engine temperature gauge shows 80° (aproximatly mid range) Warming up the car prior to utilization incresases performance, handling, and safety anddecreases the chance of any mechanical failures. Please take the extra couple of minutes to warm up the car prior to use.

Alex is crazy responsive and helpful. Eveything I needed for a trip up to Algonquin. Only thing is that the car gets shakey as you approach 120km/h. .

While it's an old car, I believe it could be better taken of. The vibrating tyre/steering at about 100km/h and noise of loose parts on bumps created an inconvenience for my trip; uncomfortable and unsafe. Scratches all around the car, rusting and peeling rim coating makes an ugly look of the car. I would not recommend it for anyone who wants to take a long trip. Better book a decent car even if it means a little more and enjoy your trip.

Olexander was very responsive to my messages & calls & pretty accommodating considering I had to make some change in my time of pick up. Even though the car was a bit old, it was still running smoothly & pretty equiped & it was more than enough for my little trip. The car was a bit noisy, I have a feeling it still had the winter tires on, that aside, it was smooth. Gas consumption of the car was amazing considering that it was big vehicle. There was minor confusion when returning the car on where to put the key, but again Olexander was quick to respond and provide the proper direction for drop off.

Olexandar is a very nice person and renting price was cheap. So I booked this car. However I can't give a good rating for the car I used. Car tire pressure was very low. Electric system in the car has some problem. Car was not clean when I went to pick up. Also back passenger side door was jammed. Break has also some problem. I don't feel safe to drive this car.

Nice trip, the drop off and pick up are really convenient, Olexandr is really flexible. However, the car really needs some maintenance (brakes, washer fluid, warning lights, doors, buttons, electric system, etc.). Recommended for very short trips only.
