I wanted my experience to be as seamless and enjoyable as all of the other 5 star reviewers before me, however mine was far from that. I was never told beforehand that the "owner" would be out of town, and that I would have to deal with a number of people upon picking up and returning the vehicle. Upon pickup, the vehicle was backed into something before being handed off to me, causing minor damage to its rear. I then noticed that the vehicle was covered in dry mud. I was assured that the owner would be notified of the damage, but then also told that the person handing the vehicle off to me was also the owner. When a passenger attempted to put the seat back before stepping in, we noticed that the passenger seat motor was broken, causing the seat to curl into the center console. The gas tank was not full, which was puzzling because every other vehicle I've rented has had a full tank to start. Now, you may be asking why I decided to accept the vehicle in this condition. All I can say is that at that point I had already taken the subway across town, and was crunched for time to attend a funeral, among other events. I asked for a partial refund, and got one (albeit a very small one). Honestly though, the entire process made me enjoy the experience far less than I intended to.
