If it's your first time renting use referral and get $25 off your rental price. Don't just show up, ARRIVE, and make a statement without making a sound, in this Super Car. With the power and acceleration to match it's sinister look this environmentally friendly green plated car will out gun pretty much every other car on the road. This beast of a car must be driven to be appreciated, and will leave a lasting impression. One drive will have you saying, "Where have you been all my life?" Don't be surprised if your regular gas powered car won't cut it for you anymore driving the Tesla. The Tesla P85 can accommodate 5 passengers with all there luggage loaded up to the max in the 'frunk' and 'trunk' and still hit 0-100 in about 4 seconds. This is the perfect road trip car, especially since you can charge at all Tesla super chargers for free, and they are popping up like weeds around the GTA, and all over. It is an exception car if you are planning a trip from the GTA to Niagara Falls and take in some wine country or planning a trip to Montreal or Ottawa as you will not spend a single penny on gas. The rental pays for itself. It is also the perfect car to rent/try if you are thinking of buying an electric car, The car will usually be provided with close to 90% charge, enough to travel up to 400kms (depending on your driving style). However, there may be occasions when they car may have a bit less charge if it has just come back from a rental prior to yours. The car must be returned with at least 50% charge. Take note that this may be one off the most powerful car you may have driven in your life. Please take care and precaution when driving this car as the immediate acceleration and limitless power is not something you are likely used too. Also please do not drive the car in an abusive manner as a Tesla is not so much a car with a computer, it's a computer that drives. The car logs how it's and this data can show if the car was driven in an abusive manner. When driving this car please drive responsibly. Vehicle is equipped with a Dashcam for your protection which you may disable at your discretion. A few extra are available at extra costs: Toll Pass Child Seat Infant Child seat Child Stroller Car is also equipped with all available charging adapter to allow you to charge away in various locations including your home as well as some emergency supplies. To get the most out of this or any electric car you rent in the GTA be sure to download the following apps: Flo (must) ChargePoint (must) ChargeHub PlugShare MyEVroute There are a lot of free chargers listed, and all the required adapters are provided. In a pinch you can also charge off 110 outlet (very slowly). Please read the FAQ below for more information on various topics and questions related to this car.

Parking details

Car is often picked up at a small commercial plaza which has 24/7 video recording. You are free to park your car in the plaza for the duration of your rental period, at your own risk of course.

Car is no smoking, no pets and no eating. You are free to drive the car as much as you want, there are no millage limitations. The car will be provided with close to 90% charge, and needs to be returned with at least 50% charge only. There may be circumstances where the car may have come back from a trip just prior to your trip, and has not had an opportunity to reach 90% charge. In those circumstances, you will only need to return the car at the rate you received the car. My objective is to make your experience special and hassle free, you should not have to worry finding a charger before giving the car back.

  • Where can I charge your car?
Short answer - "almost anywhere where you can find an outlet" Tesla’s are built to take advantage of any available charging opportunity, including 120v and, 240v outlets, Tesla Super Charger, other charging networks such as FLO, Charge point, My Evroute just to name a few.
  • What is a Tesla Supercharger, and how do I use it?
Tesla Super charger is the charging infrastructure Tesla has built exclusively for Tesla and to allow Tesla's to travel long distances, far beyond the battery range of the car. Think of it as a 'gas station' for a Tesla, except it's absolutely FREE. This car has access to Tesla's supercharging network and one click on the lightning bolt icon on the navigation screen shows you the location closest to you. The car will also inform you the number of stalls total, available, charging speed, and available amenities at the Super Charger.
  • How long does it take to charge the car at a Tesla Super Charger?
Short answer - "it depends" At the Tesla Super Charger the car will charge at an average rate of 400-650kms an hour when the battery is empty to half full. The rate will start to slow down as the battery gets fuller. A Tesla will typically charge from 0 to 80% in 40 minutes and the 80% to 100% charge will take almost another 40 minutes. It's best recommended that you charge up to 80% at the Super Charger.
  • Can I charge your electric car at my home on 120v outlet in my garage?
Yes you certainly can, but it will be at a maximum rate of 6kms per hour so 8 hours of charge time will only provide you with 48kms of distance (depending on your driving style).
  • Is there another option other than 120v to charge at home?
Absolutely, if you have a laundry room close to your garage or a stove outlet in your garage (quite common) you may plug the mobile charger into the dryer outlet using the nema 14-30 or 14-50 (supplied with the car) to give you significantly faster charging than 120v.
  • How much distance can I expect to get out of the car?
The car is capable of over 450kms when drive in ideal conditions and with a gentle foot. However, the biggest impact on the distance will be cold weather and heat production, followed by speed of driving and acceleration from a stop. Typically you should account for 300kms in between charges to maintain a safe buffer. In extremely cold weather you should account for 200kms in between charges.
  • How much will charging this car at home cost me?
Typical electric rates in Southern Ontario are $0.06 per kw. The car has a 85kw battery, so to charge the car from 0 to 100% will cost around $5.00 and you will be able to drive approximately 400kms (yes you read that correct $5.00 to drive 400kms).
  • I really love this car, can I buy it off you?
Sorry my car is not for sale, however you can use my referral code "amandeep6818" to buy a Tesla of your own and get free Superchargning for life when you purchase a brand new model S or X.
