Thinking back across 2017 and of all the cars I\u2019ve driven this year on Turo, the most unforgettable is the Jaguar F-Type S. Every trip in that car is sure to be an occasion because of the burbles and grunts the engine relentlessly produces. And it is absolutely gorgeous to look at.<\/span><\/p>\n

Like I said <\/span>when I blogged about it<\/span><\/a>: \u201cIf driving a Model S is the equivalent of flying business class in a modern airplane, driving an F-Type is the equivalent of jumping out of that airplane \u2014 it\u2019s simply more exciting.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always been about the exciting but less mainstream cars \u2014 Porsche and Ferrari make great cars, but everyone knows them. The GT-R is a real car person\u2019s car. Most people on the street don\u2019t understand its history. Also, it\u2019s a car that might just fit inside a normal person\u2019s world. It\u2019s something I could realistically own and drive regularly.<\/span><\/p>\n
