For her 25th birthday, Turo member Kathleen D.<\/a>\u00a0decided she needed to escape Denver and head somewhere that has palm trees and drinks with little umbrellas in them. So she and her boyfriend Chris hopped on a plane to Orlando, where they picked up Michelle’s Mercedes-Benz M-Class.\u00a0Insulated from Florida’s famous summer humidity by the Mercedes’s air conditioning, they drove south to the vacation town of Vero Beach, where fiery sunsets and aqua-blue Atlantic waters awaited.<\/p>\n

They spent a lot of time at the beach that weekend, taking advantage of the calm breaks between tropical downpours. After a trip to the local supermarket, they returned to the condo to cook up some tasty tacos with a new recipe they had found.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Vero Beach proved to be a charming American beach town, with classic waterfront restaurants that were mostly empty during Florida’s off-season.<\/p>\n

A little exploration and a lot of relaxation rounded off the weekend nicely.<\/p>\n
