The thriftier trend is also reflected in the Phoenix area\u2019s average daily price being slightly lower than in other locales. However, the market sees longer duration rentals with average trip duration of 4.44 days \u00a0\u2014 the perfect amount of time to explore all the desert\u2019s unique jaunts<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Nationally, Turo\u2019s high season is during summer and the winter holidays. In Phoenix, high summer and deep winter are actually traditionally quieter periods! Phoenix\u2019s market is big from September to November, and reaches its peak from February to April, right when the weather is at its best.<\/span><\/p>\n

The market\u2019s largest and most useful discrepancy from Turo\u2019s national average is the amount of trips that start at the airport \u2014 half of all trips start at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.   4. Michael D.<\/span><\/a> has 11 sedans and minivans that he rents out of Scottsdale that have hosted 137 trips in the last year.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. With over three years under his belt, <\/span>Michael S.<\/span><\/a> is a seasoned Turo vet who has hosted 137 trips. With four upscale cars listed, he\u2019s able to make money without having to hand over the keys so often!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Rising stars<\/span><\/h3>\n

    These hosts may be newer to the marketplace, but they\u2019ve already proven themselves sluggers to be reckoned with: <\/span><\/p>\n
