Not only are many of our community members intrepid travelers, they\u2019re also pretty awesome photographers. We recently launched <\/span>Turo Travelogues<\/span><\/a>, a program where Turo travelers chronicle their killer adventures with killer photos of US destinations, both on and off the grid.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most recently, Turo member and professional photographer Ryker G. (who also photographs cars in the Salt Lake City area for <\/span>our free professional photography program<\/span><\/a>) packed up his adorable family and went on a long weekend to explore <\/span>the Hoodoos in Bryce Canyon National Park<\/span><\/a> in southern Utah. <\/span><\/p>\n

Tall, thin rock spires that poke up from arid earthen floors like prairie dogs, hoodoos can be found around the world (notably in Cappadocia, Turkey) and locally in Colorado and Utah. Especially with a light dusting of snow, the rock formations in Bryce Canyon create sweeping, dizzying panoramas that would easily awaken the inner nature photographer in all of us.<\/span><\/p>\n

But the best part of traveling Utah in the crisp November air? Cozying up with some cocoa with your family and just taking it all in. <\/span><\/p>\n

An avid traveler, Ryker\u2019s always looking forward to his next trip, but embraces the spontaneity of road travel: \u201cOnly the roads know where our next adventure will take us,\u201d he notes. <\/span><\/p>\n
