A new baby Escalade with an electric twistThe \u201cbaby Escalade\u201d \u2014 that\u2019s how Cadillac has informally marketed their all-new Vistiq SUV, which means it has very big shoes to fill. The Escalade, and the electric Escalade IQ with it, is the brand\u2019s most famous (and largest) model. But it has to be said, it seems to be a fairly accurate summary on the surface. The 2026 Vistiq replaces the outgoing XT6, and this three-row electric SUV looks and feels much like its renowned bigger sibling. Cadillac\u2019s electric SUV lineup now includes the Escalade IQ, the Lyriq<\/a>, the also-new-for-2026 Optiq, and the Lyriq. All these IQ-suffixed offerings bear a similar sharp styling that reinforces Cadillacs as designer items. And the Vistiq is surely that \u2014 starting at 80 grand, it\u2019s not a mere cheap imitation of the Escalade<\/a>. Once you dive into the equipment list, though, the price tag really starts to make sense: 23-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, 33-inch high-res curved touchscreen, heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, glass roof over the whole cabin, Super Cruise hands-free driving\u2026 the list goes on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior is definitely the star of the show with the Vistiq, with plenty of space, theater, and a welcoming mix of materials. You\u2019ll find white leather, wood accents, and brushed metal in Aharon\u2019s Vistiq. The aforementioned 33-inch touchscreen dominates the dashboard but feels well-integrated compared to other EV interiors. A second, fixed skylight looms over the power-folding third row, adding to the airiness. Overall, the Vistiq\u2019s cabin is a luxurious place to be, which is ultimately what you\u2019re looking for in a Cadillac<\/a> SUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every Vistiq trim comes with front and rear motors that combine for 615 horsepower and 649 lb-ft of torque with all-wheel drive. This is easily enough oomph to get this big beast moving quickly \u2014 an extremely impressive 3.6 seconds to 60 mph to be exact. Aharon\u2019s Sport trim comes with adaptive coil-sprung suspension, but air-spring suspension can be had with higher trims for a plusher ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As far as battery range, the Vistiq is said to get up to about 300 miles on a single charge. As with any electric car<\/a>, this comes down to traffic and your driving style, but it\u2019s a respectable figure for a vehicle of this size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
