After moving from Washington state to the Salt Lake City area in his tried-and-true minivan, Adam D. was ready for an upgrade. In the oil business, \u201cI worked my butt off \u2014 15 hour days at the refineries \u2014 and I was ready for an adult car,\u201d he recalls.<\/span><\/p>\n

Looking for something \u201ccool, fast, and fun,\u201d he was sold on the Challenger as soon as he put the pedal to the proverbial metal. \u201cIt\u2019s unbelievable, the power you (literally) have under your foot. I bought it on the spot.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt just had so much power, it sold me,\u201d he recalls. \u201cThe car spoke for itself. It\u2019s the classic muscle car.\u201d Equipped with a Hemi V8 5.7 engine and a sound system with 10-inch subwoofers, it has the comfort to be a great daily driver, an incredibly fast, incredibly slick daily driver.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPeople will definitely look at you at stoplights,\u201d he laughs. <\/span><\/p>\n

Wanting to share that experience with others, as well as recoup some of the cost of ownership with gas prices slipping in SLC (resulting in less work for him), he decided to rent it out. \u201cPeople really enjoy renting it,\u201d he said. His last renter was an Olympic speed skater in town for the Speed Skating World Cup.<\/span><\/p>\n
