A Rocky Mountain unicorn<\/span><\/h2>\n

You don\u2019t see Lamborghinis everyday, no matter where in the world you are. <\/span><\/p>\n

But they\u2019re an especially rare breed in the outdoorsy suburbs of Denver where Outbacks dot the streets, and where Turo owner Scott R. lives with his twin 12-year-old boys. \u201cIn fact,\u201d he says, \u201cthere were only 15 Hurac\u00e1ns sold in all of Colorado. And I think mine is the only black one.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Being such a rarity, Scott\u2019s Hurac\u00e1n (often likened to the Batmobile) turns quite a few heads. His boys catch people sneaking pictures on the highway and when it\u2019s parked around town. \u201cIt just amazes me,\u201d he mused, \u201cI\u2019ve never seen a car that makes so many people smile. In today\u2019s world where there\u2019s just so much negative stuff, it\u2019s great to be able to make people smile.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

With that in mind, he recalled, \u201cWhen I saw Turo, I thought it\u2019d be cool to make it available\u201d and share the experience with other car lovers who may not otherwise have the opportunity to drive one.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the plains or in the mountains, \u201cit just has so much power, it grips the road incredibly\u2026it\u2019s really\u00a0smooth and really fast.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He listed it recently, so he hasn\u2019t yet rented it out or had time (or weather conditions) to have it professionally photographed<\/a>, which isn\u2019t all that surprising with the Denver winter upon us. He has, however, been approached by businesses that want to feature it at events and openings for photo ops. <\/span><\/p>\n

Car enthusiast or neophyte, design snob or function-over-form type, old or young \u2014 everyone loves a super-cool, super-rare supercar.<\/span><\/p>\n
