I dove into our booking and search\u00a0data this week to see which cities were\u00a0the most popular last weekend, where folks from different cities tend to travel, and how people from different regions plan their travel. Which\u00a0destinations are more popular than usual?<\/h3>\n

The most searched destinations for the Labor Day holiday were\u00a0in California, New York, Florida, and Texas, but Seattle<\/strong>, Portland<\/strong>, Scottsdale<\/strong>, Kansas City<\/strong>, and Toronto<\/strong>\u00a0were particularly more popular than usual.<\/p>\n

Which destinations are less popular than usual?<\/h3>\n

Surprisingly, some usual leaders of the popularity pack weren’t as popular this time around. San Francisco<\/strong>,\u00a0North Hollywood<\/strong>,\u00a0Chicago<\/strong>,\u00a0Miami<\/strong>, and\u00a0New York City\u00a0<\/strong>all saw dips in searches and bookings, so perhaps travelers are looking to less trodden destinations for their Labor Day getaways.<\/p>\n
