Some cars blend into the background, and some just can\u2019t help but be noticed. Jason M.\u2019s Alfa Romeo without question belongs in the latter camp. \u201cI wasn\u2019t even in the market for a car,\u201d he recalled. \u201cThen I saw it on Facebook and just thought, \u2018Wow.\u2019\u201d And the rest is history.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not a car for gearheads with a penchant for modern amenities, \u201cit\u2019s very much a no-frills car. It\u2019s made of really high-end, lightweight materials that are usually reserved for much more expensive cars; there are a lot of elements that hearken back to old-school design,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since it\u2019s missing the aforementioned creature comforts, \u201cit\u2019s not really built for road tripping.\u201d It is, however, perfect for shorter joyrides and local getaways. Jason’s\u00a0driven it around Northern New Jersey and New York, and his renters have clocked some miles around the Tri-State area. \u201cPeople often take it for a weekend getaway. A few have taken it to the Hamptons, another upstate, and another to Philly,\u201d he recalls.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMost renters are car enthusiasts; some have been in the market for one and just wanted to try it out for a few days before committing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cA big car fanatic\u201d himself, Jason saw the value in the investment immediately. Justifying the purchase by renting it out, he also uses it as a branding tool for his high-end real estate brokerage, <\/span>Urban Luxe<\/span>. \u201cIt\u2019s a really neat little package to have as far as sports cars go.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n
