Ford GT<\/a><\/h3>\n

With a teardrop shape designed for maximum aerodynamics and 600+ hp, <\/span>this sports car<\/span><\/a> is a powerhouse in the truest sense of the word. And Ford isn\u2019t doing anything halfway: built with an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber frame, they\u2019re going for best power-to-weight ratio in the world. Want to get a taste of this bad boy? Get in line, as Ford is only releasing 500 of the model to the general public.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fiat Spider<\/a><\/h3>\n

Hearkening back to the original Fiat 124 Spider, the Italian automaker\u2019s all-time bestseller in America, <\/span>the new Spider<\/span><\/a> recalls the classic Italian design with a totally updated engine. Fiat partnered with Miata to create an eye-catching exterior that houses the Mazda MX-5 Miata engine, which is customized for the Spider to boast a 1.4-liter turbo four making 160 hp and 184 lb-ft.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chevrolet Bolt<\/a><\/h3>\n

A crossover with an estimated 200+ mile range, <\/span>the new Bolt<\/span><\/a> is all-electric and eminently practical at a starting price point of roughly $30,000. As batteries don\u2019t require air for combustion, the underbody is flat and enclosed, enabling optimal airflow, while the use of lightweight aluminum further contributes to the streamlined performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Acura NSX<\/a><\/h3>\n

\u201cMade with love\u201d would be an accurate description of the new NSX<\/a>: not only is the vehicle fully made in-house, but each engine is hand-assembled in a six hour procedure. The design process was similarly painstaking: after a hiatus of over 10 years, the gestation of this second generation supercar was anything but smooth. Every shape adjustment required changes throughout the car to correctly direct the airflow, in addition to changing the engine configuration midway through the design. Luckily, the finished product delivers on all levels, including 75-degree DOHC V-6, twin-turbo charging, three motors, and nine-speed DCT.<\/span><\/p>\n

Porsche 718<\/a><\/h3>\n

The new 718 model<\/a> encompasses the Boxster and Cayman in a rebranding nod at Porsche\u2019s heritage. Through the 50s and 60s, the 718 of yore was cleaning up at prestigious races across the country, and the new Boxster and Cayman have the same four-cylinder flat engine, updated with modern direct fuel injection and turbo charging.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mazda Miata MX-5 RF<\/a><\/h3>\n

The new MX-5<\/a> carries on the model\u2019s stellar history with some added bonuses, including a new power-folding targa top, creating a streamlined rooftop that retracts smoothly without detracting from the car\u2019s weight balance or interior space. The coupe maintains the features that have made the car such a success in previous years, including a 2.0-liter SKYACTIV\u00a0four-cylinder as standard and 155 hp.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jaguar F-PACE<\/a><\/h3>\n

The first SUV from acclaimed roadster- and sport sedan-maker Jaguar, the F-PACE<\/a> drives just as one would hope. There\u2019s no lag from a standstill, and you can go zero-to-60 in just over five seconds with the supercharged V-6. A sleek design and roomy interior complete a nearly ideal luxury SUV, making it safe to say that Jaguar will see success right out of the gate with their foray into SUV territory.<\/span><\/p>\n
