Tesla\u2019s new Model S 60<\/span><\/h3>\n

The new and improved Model S returns with a range of about 200 miles and a lower base price of $66,000. This <\/span>Model S is equipped with some new features<\/span><\/a>, like autopilot, all-wheel drive and a 75-kilowatt battery that performs like a 60-kilowatt, but can be unlocked for a fee to give the car extra range.<\/span><\/p>\n

The high cost of car maintenance<\/span><\/h3>\n

YourMechanic<\/span>, a network of mobile, on-demand mechanics (who happen to be <\/span>Turo Car Care partners<\/span>), recently analyzed their own massive dataset to determine <\/span>which car brands have the highest maintenance costs<\/span><\/a> over time. Norway gets greener<\/span><\/h3>\n

Norway announced its new transportation plan for 2018-2029 this spring, and the plan includes a proposal to limit the sale of gasoline cars, with the goal of making all cars electric by 2025. Whether or not Norway confirms the ban, it was good news to the CEO of Tesla, <\/span>Elon Musk, who took his elation to Twitter<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hot wheels in Britain<\/span><\/h3>\n

At the Coventry Motofest this past weekend, <\/span>a parade of impressive cars<\/span><\/a> sped their way through the converted sprint circuit on the city\u2019s ring road, though none quite as charming as the <\/span>Aston Martin Vulcan<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Goodbye to retro cars in Paris<\/span><\/h3>\n

Beginning in July, <\/span>Paris will ban cars made before 1997<\/span> from entering the city center between 8 AM and 8PM. In the name of better air quality, the bigger plan is to extend the ban by 2020 to cars manufactured before 2010.<\/span><\/p>\n

BMW i3 police car<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Los Angeles Police Department announced this week that it will be <\/span>purchasing a fleet of BMW\u2019s compact electric cars<\/span><\/a> as part of a sustainability initiative.
