Anxiety is simmering at an extraordinary level across society, so we\u2019re laser-focused on how hosts can provide safe access to clean cars for whoever needs them \u2014 whether for frontline workers getting to work or stir-crazy summer vacationers looking to hit the road in a self-contained mobile sanctuary (when local regulations allow, of course).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hit the road confidently<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clean &amp; disinfected cars<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hosts are now required to clean and disinfect their vehicles thoroughly before every trip, per our strengthened <a href=\"https:\/\/support.turo.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360000808347-Cleaning-policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">cleaning policy<\/a>. Turo hosts have access to training materials on proper cleaning and disinfection practices based on the latest recommendations compiled from the CDC, EPA, WHO, and vehicle detailing experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hosts are expected to clean their cars\u2019 interiors and wipe down all surfaces with disinfectant, paying special attention to all frequently touched \u201chot spots\u201d like door handles, center consoles, steering wheels, buttons and switches, and seat belts.
