<\/p>\n\n\n\nLiving out in the Sunset district, taking classes across the city in downtown, and working nearly everywhere in between requires no small amount of travel. But in San Francisco, it doesn\u2019t make sense to do all that from the driver\u2019s seat of a car.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI commute so much with Muni and Bart, my car sits in front of my apartment most of the time,\u201d Natasha says. \u201cAnd it\u2019s a cool car! I was like, \u2018other people really might like this!\u2019\u201d
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was right. Her 2013 Mustang was her dream car and a high school graduation gift from her parents, and when she listed it on Turo last year, the interest was immediate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
Her most recent guests are a prime example of her typical clientele. Before the couple picked it up, the wife told Natasha that she booked it to surprise her husband, since a Mustang has always been his dream car, too.

\u201cShe messaged me this whole story about how they really want to get a Mustang but the timing hasn\u2019t been right, so in the meantime they\u2019re going to spend some time enjoying mine,\u201d Natasha said. \u201cWhen I started Turo, that’s exactly who I wanted driving my car \u2014 someone who would value it even more than I do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Putting in work<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Between her 9\u20135 marketing role at a sustainable design start-up and her part-time catering gig on the weekends, (not to mention grad school classes from 6\u20139 each weeknight), Natasha doesn\u2019t have time for many joy rides. And you wouldn’t think she has time to manage yet another money-making endeavor.

\u201cTuro is just so easy to do and I actually get to make these cool connections,\u201d Natasha says. \u201cIt’s really exciting to know someone else is having fun with my car.\u201d

Beyond grocery store trips, Natasha gets a limited amount of time with her car, though not for lack of desire. A Mustang has been Natasha\u2019s dream car since she was young, playing Barbies with a toy Mustang rather than a pink Barbie convertible. \u201cI was so excited when I got my car, so that\u2019s how I hope other people experience it when they get to drive it,\u201d Natasha says. \u201cThe fact that I get to add my car into their personal story, whatever it is… I think that’s the best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
Now that she\u2019s found a way to share her car with other enthusiasts, she’s set her eyes on the next prize. While the income from her two jobs goes towards living expenses, she earmarks her Turo funds for a different goal: a Porsche Macan GTS.

\u201cIt\u2019s so out there, but I have to set my goals high. Otherwise I\u2019ll just spend the money!\u201d
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And in the meantime, like any car lover, she\u2019s enjoying the journey.
