Introducing Nissan Experience Test Drive
Turo and Nissan are proud to partner up to create a new program that innovates and upgrades the traditional test drive experience. Through Nissan Experience Test Drive, prospective car buyers can book a Nissan vehicle on Turo to test how that car really fits within the framework of their life before making the big decision to buy a new car.
After test driving a Nissan vehicle, consumers who buy a new or certified pre-owned Nissan vehicle within six months of their test drive will be credited $300 towards their purchase at any authorized Nissan dealership!*
This pilot program will start in three test markets: Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Northern New Jersey — three of the most active areas in the Turo marketplace — giving thousands of local and visiting travelers the chance to sample vehicles from across the Nissan lineup.
Test drive on your terms
This partnership provides a natural way for people, especially tech-savvy, experience-driven consumers, to find the perfect vehicle and get to know it on their terms. “This is the test drive of the future. The more time that people can spend with a Nissan vehicle, the better,” said Tyler Slade, managing partner, Tim Dahle Nissan, Salt Lake City. “You just can’t experience everything that our vehicles have to offer, especially new technology, with a drive around the block. Customers feel more confident about a major vehicle purchase when they can live with a car.”
By expanding the test drive to a multi-day trip, customers are able to see how any particular Nissan suits the needs of their lifestyle by driving the roads they frequently travel, running errands, and getting input from their family and friends.
Local Turo hosts in these areas already sharing their own Nissan vehicles are also able to share their experiences as Nissan owners with their guests. The program leverages this invaluable part of the Turo community — people can get firsthand knowledge directly from consumers like them.
In addition to these individual hosts, over 40 Nissan dealerships are offering hundreds of Nissan vehicles on Turo for prospective buyers. People who book Nissan vehicles shared by these dealers get to test drive cars for days at a time (or as long as they wish), with the added benefit of the Nissan representatives’ professional expertise and service.
Nissan Experience Test Drive literally and figuratively puts the customer in the driver’s seat. With this more complete and holistic test drive experience, customers can take their time getting familiar with the Nissan vehicles they have their eye on, and confidently make decisions at the dealership.
