Welcoming Jeep enthusiasts to the Jeep Freedom Experience

I’m super excited to announce Turo and Jeep have teamed up to bring the Jeep Freedom Experience, a program to empower current and prospective Jeep owners to turn their vehicles into earnings engines.

Jeep Freedom is part of our continuing efforts to engage car enthusiasts with the rapidly evolving automotive and mobility landscape, and will launch as a pilot in the Boston area. The objective is to introduce car sharing to Jeep buyers, highlighting the earnings potential of the different Jeep models when they are shared on Turo. As Turo hosts, Jeep buyers can get help covering their payments, offset the cost of ownership entirely, or even turn a profit. These earnings open up the ability to afford a more upscale vehicle, whether it’s with added options or a different model previously thought unattainable.

This partnership is a natural fit for Jeep and Turo. Models across the Jeep lineup have long been among the most popular vehicles for guests on Turo — their versatility appeals to adventure-seekers across the US, no matter the region or season. Jeep owners will find the Turo marketplace a welcoming and engaging place to share these adventures.

The partnership between Turo and Jeep leverages the Carculator, which we unveiled last month. Carculator is an amazing tool that helps car owners estimate how much they could make by sharing their cars on Turo based on the year, make, model and geographic location, based on the 6+ million days booked on Turo.

With the data used to power the Carculator, we ran a special study ranking vehicles by their potential return on investment, and confirmed that Jeep models can provide excellent return on investment for Turo hosts — the Jeep Wrangler ranked number one over all other vehicles!

We’re delighted to note that the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Cherokee took the top two spots in the study’s SUV category. The Wrangler has consistently been one of the most-booked vehicles across the Turo marketplace, providing memorable trips for guests and significant average earnings for hosts.
