Check out the recording of our latest Fireside Chat, where Turo CEO, Andre Haddad, and Senior Vice President, Turo US, Tim Rossanis, talk through key updates from the fall host release.

New profile to better market your business
You asked, we listened. Soon you’ll have a new way to attract new business and help your past guests easily book with you again! Your host profile will be updated as a digital storefront, where guests can filter your vehicles by their trip dates and book directly through your profile page.

You’ll be able to easily share all your vehicle listings on your social media, business cards, or with your guests, with a single link or QR code to help you get more bookings.
Plus, starting next month, guests will also be able to filter by location, including airports.

Self-service vehicle swaps
If you need to swap a vehicle for an upcoming trip due to damage, required maintenance, a recall, or a scheduling issue, you’ll soon be able to do it yourself without calling customer support.
In just a few easy steps in the app, you’ll be able to select an eligible replacement vehicle from your portfolio, and your guest will have up until the trip start time to accept or decline the swap.

New updates to boost demand
From next week’s big marketing campaign to an improved price filter for easier bookings, learn about the latest updates to help bring you more business.

COMING SOON
Big marketing campaign to help boost earnings and reduce costs
We’re launching a big marketing campaign for guests on October 21 to help increase demand for monthly trips — the fastest-growing type of booking on Turo. The launch is designed to accelerate this growth, creating more, longer bookings for hosts.
Monthly trips can help you earn more while saving you time and money with fewer pick-ups and returns, less wear and tear, and a lower claims rate on average.*
Optimize your settings for monthly trips before October 21 for every car where longer trips make sense for your business to benefit from increased demand.
*There were 68% fewer claims for monthly trips on average than shorter trips, based on data collected from trips completed across the US from January 1 – September 30, 2025.
COMING SOON
Improved price filter for easier bookings
Later this fall, an updated price filter will let guests narrow their search results based on total trip price, replacing the daily price filter that’s currently available in search. The new filter will make pricing displays more consistent, and help guests easily find, compare, and book vehicles that fit their budget.

The filter will also display the relative number of vehicles available at different price points to better set price expectations for guests, and to help you optimize your pricing to stay competitive.

Monthly trips are now pay-as-you-go
To make longer bookings more competitive, all trips over 30 days are now pay-as-you-go. Guests pay 30 days at a time instead of the full amount upfront.
For non-refundable trips:
- After the 24-hour grace period, if the guest cancels the trip before it starts, you still keep the earnings from the first 30 days
- If the guest shortens or ends the trip after it starts, you still keep the earnings from at least the next 30 days

Managing your delivery settings just got easier
You no longer have to change the delivery settings for your vehicles one by one. The updated “Locations” tab now allows you to update your delivery settings by location, and apply it to all the vehicles that you deliver there.

In the coming months, you’ll also be able to edit parking locations and guest pickup instructions for each location on this page.

Some unrated trips will automatically be removed
If a guest who violates the Terms of Service on their trip doesn’t leave a rating, the unrated trip will automatically be removed and excluded from your performance metrics, as well as from your reviews.
