Big-time car savings

The stuffing is gone, the pie is packed away, and it’s time to tuck into something even sweeter: Black Friday deals. Car deals, specifically. If you’re looking for new wheels this season, the biggest deal day of the year won’t disappoint. Plan ahead to make the most of the big day and ride home happy!

Chevy’s offering GM Employee Pricing on 10 2017 models this month, including the sporty Corvette and Camaro. More heavy duty options include the Tahoe and Suburban, and three models of the Silverado. In a different deal, they’re also offering 20% off MSRP on the 2017 Spark, Sonic, Cruze, Malibu, Impala, and Trax.

Western states will get a $250 Black Friday Bonus on the Mazda3, Mazda6, and CX-9. The Mazda3 and CX-9 will also be eligible for $2,250 cash or 0% APR for 60 months — $3,250 cash for the Mazda6. These deals apply to both 2017 and 2018 models.

The Ford Escape comes with $1,000 cash back, plus 0% financing for 60 months. (And, if you’re not sold on the Black Friday crowds, think on it: the deal goes until 2018).

Head to Chrysler for a triple threat: 0% APR for 72 months, $1,000 cash, and no payments for 90 days. Rake in these deals on the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, Dodge Charger, Jeep Cherokee, and RAM 1500. But it’s worth weighing your options: cash bonuses from $3,750 (on the Charger) to $7,000 (for the Cherokee) may be more tempting than the low APR.

The 2018 Elantra and Sonata both come with a $500 holiday bonus. If you finance the Elantra at non-promotional rates, you can get $3,500 in combined savings, and the Sonata is eligible for $2,000 cash, or 0% financing for 72 months and a $1,000 bonus.

A sporty ride that’s big enough for the family, the Challenger is available on a leasing deal for $239 a month for 36 months, with $2,999 due at signing.

Rake in $4,000 cash back and 2.9% financing for 60 months on the 2017 Acadia, which comes standard with all kinds of bells and whistles, including Apple CarPlay and a wi-fi hotspot.

The best-selling Jetta is a steal for lessees at $109 a month for 36 months with $2,999 due at signing. The lease covers 30,000 miles of cruising.

Go green with the smooth Leaf, offered with $4,000 cash back and 0% financing for 72 months. The battery-powered car does have range limitations, but offers an uber-comfortable commute — for you and your wallet, both.
