Take a break with these pretty pictures

Every few Fridays we like to bring you moments of zen in the form of some of our favorite motorcars from around the Turo marketplace. As the country hits the road this summer, let’s keep the fun going. We like cars, you like cars, so let’s look at some cars.

The WRX STI is the Subaru Impreza’s raciest, most hardcore trim — basically the road-going version of Subaru’s legendary rally cars. So with all-wheel drive, a six-speed manual transmission, and rally-inspired factory equipment, Dustan’s 2018 STI is already a beast. But Dustan, a seasoned All-Star Host and auto mechanic, says he customizes all his cars (he currently has seven listed). He’s upgraded this STI’s exhaust and intake, and tuned the turbocharged 2.5L flat-four engine to make nearly 400 hp, up from 305 in the stock STI.

Performance boost aside, what clearly makes this STI stand out are the Subaru rally graphics, which are much the same as you’ll see on many actual Subaru rally team cars. So if you book this car, you get the opportunity to live out your rally dreams in a hardened and modified, but street-legal fashion (please keep in mind, off-roading is prohibited with any car booked on Turo). This STI is available in Aurora, Colorado, and we’re in the heat of summer — you could head out for an outdoor adventure and take advantage of the numerous Extras Dustan provides, like a bike rack, car seats, camping gear, and picnic supplies, or take it for a romp along some twisty mountain roads!
