Stave off boredom with these pretty pictures

Bored in the house? All quarantine long we’ve been bringing you regular moments of zen in the form of some of our most favorite motorcars from around the Turo marketplace. We like cars, you like cars, so let’s look at some cars.

McLaren re-entered the consumer market in 2011 when they launched the MP4-12C (later shortened to just “12C”), the first production model fully designed and built by the British marque. It was a hit from day one, impressing journalists and customers with a do-it-all dual personality — the 12C’s clever suspension systems made it remarkably easy and comfortable to drive around town, but it performed like a supercar by every other measure. Its 3.8L twin-turbo V8 pumps out 616 hp, which takes the 12C from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and to a top speed of faster than you’ll ever need to go (215 mph).

This Volcano Red 2013 McLaren MP4-12C Spider in Ontario is an excellent example of McLaren’s milestone vehicle, flaunting its dihedral doors like a supercar should, with a focused and minimalistic interior adorned with lightweight carbon fiber panels and alcantara surfaces. Look up Luxury Autos’ McLaren if you’re in the Toronto area!
