Stave off boredom with these pretty pictures

Bored in the house? Live-stream concerts and true crime podcasts can only fill so much time, so we’re bringing you a moment of zen each week in the form of some of our most favorite motorcars from around the Turo marketplace. We like cars, you like cars, so let’s look at some cars.

The McLaren lineup is strictly comprised of blisteringly quick supercars. The $1.2 million hypercar P1 aside, at the top of the heap for McLaren road cars sits the 720S. For gearheads, the 720S is equal parts engineering marvel and unadulterated want. The stat sheet caused double-takes when the car was released: 710 horsepower from the turbocharged 4-liter V8, 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, quarter mile in 10.1, and a top speed of 212 mph.

It is, by all accounts, one of the most complete driver’s cars out there. There are zero compromises — this McLaren 720S has race car speed around circuits and in a straight line, and is far more comfortable around town than it has any right to be. Plus, it looks like this. Extravagant dihedral doors frame the spellbinding skull-like face and a sleek, powerful cockpit lets you know you’re sitting in something special. And just look at this color!
