Every few Fridays we like to bring you moments of zen in the form of some of our favorite motorcars from around the Turo marketplace. As the country hits the road again, let’s keep the fun going. We like cars, you like cars, so let’s look at some cars.
The revived Toyota Supra launched in 2019 to immense fanfare, became one of the hottest cars in recent memory, and has proven to be an excellent driver’s car for those who’ve been lucky enough to try one. But Toyota’s still making changes to the Mark V — last year they increased the turbocharged V6’s power to 382 hp and made improvements to the chassis, suspension, and steering. And now they’ve introduced a new, extra-exclusive version.
David’s 2022 Supra is in the A91-CF trim, or simply the Carbon Fiber Edition — a new limited-edition variant for this year only. This package comes with an eye-catching carbon fiber aero kit — the splitter, enlarged front and rear canards, side rockers, and a duckbill spoiler out back distinguish this car from normal Supras. David’s car is one of 600 A91-CFs that will be built, and according to him, is one of just 30 in the US in this Nitro Yellow color. So if you enjoy a well-sorted sports car and still haven’t sampled the new Supra yet…
