Stave off boredom with these pretty pictures

Still bored in the house? All quarantine long we’ve been bringing you regular moments of zen in the form of some of our most favorite motorcars from around the Turo marketplace. We like cars, you like cars, so let’s look at some cars.

Launched in 2012, the Karma was the first model from Fisker, and though the marque has seen struggles since, the Karma endures as an intriguing experiment and pioneer. Famed Danish designer Henrik Fisker (the man behind the BMW Z8, the Aston Martin DB9, and V8 Vantage) created the Karma as an exotic-looking, luxurious plug-in hybrid that hit the streets at the same time as the Tesla Model S. Though the exclusive Fisker hasn’t had the staying power of Tesla, this four-seat sedan stands out with its athletic silhouette, gorgeous leather-and-suede interior, and a solar-cell roof.

The Karma is driven by two electric motors with an additional four-cylinder gas engine to power the generator, which lets Maxim’s 2012 Fisker Karma here max out at about 250 miles of total range. Though only a few thousand Karmas were sold during its short run, its enchanting looks and eco cred mean you can still catch sight of one around places like Hollywood and South Florida.
