Turo car of the month

Since its introduction in 2006, the Porsche Cayman has always lived in the shadow of its big brother, the 911. However, a lot of prayers were answered when Porsche announced the limited edition Cayman GT4 in 2015. At 385 horsepower, the GT4 is 35 hp more than the base 911, a lot nimbler, and, to the delight of purists, is available in manual transmission only. Due to capacity constraints, Porsche only made 2,500 units, about half of which came to the US, and all of which were gone before I could even finalize the color.

We are thrilled to share that you can now experience a GT4 on Turo! With bucket seats from the 918 Spyder, carbon ceramic brakes, and alcantara/carbon fiber interiors — the options alone are worth more than a Ford Fiesta. In case you missed out on getting one (or if you are just going to be in the LA area), we highly recommend you book this in advance as a treat to yourself.

We are convinced that the GT4 is an all-time great and is our car-of-the-month for January.
