After launching in Nova Scotia in 2019<\/a>, our wheels started turning with plans to bring Turo to the rest of eastern Canada. And for good reason, too. The East boasts rich history, seaside views, and beautiful architecture that make for a trip to remember. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expansion couldn\u2019t have come at a better time. With a potential rental car shortage on the horizon<\/a>, similar to what happened last year, and people eager to travel, visitors to the region can rest easy knowing they can enjoy a unique, community-based mode of transportation that supports local hosts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help meet the expected high demand for cars, Turo partnered with Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island Provincial Governments to accelerate its expansion into these provinces ahead of the summer peak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also presents an exciting entrepreneurial opportunity for east coast car owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
